The once youth baseball player, who’d won the Porter World Cup with his team, the Taipower Company employee, Yin, after divorcing, started dating the Taipower contractor, Chang for more than a decade’s time, recently, he suspected that she was breaking up with him because she took up with another man, yesterday at the Taipower local office in Chiayi, he used a fruit knife, and stabbed five times into Chang’s heart, causing her to bleed out, she was rushed to the hospital, but died; Yin was dumbfounded on the chair, and tried to excuse himself, “I’d accidentally stabbed her”, the Chiayi D.A.’s Office charged him with murder, and asked the courts to take him into custody.
The assistant of the sales department of the local Chiayi District office of Taipower Company, Yen told, that Yin worked in the materials managing department, responsible in what he did, that Chang was from a related materials provision company, that the Taipower Company felt regrettable over what had happened.
Based off of understanding, the fifty-five-year-old Yin was married before with two daughters, the fifty-one-year-old Chang was also previously married, with a son, later, both got divorced, they’d met on the job, and started dating twelve years ago, because Yin had oral cancer, during his treatment, Chang looked after him.
The police found, that Chang made Yin upset by mentioning breaking up, and he’d not agreed, and had argued with her many times already, yesterday, he’d used the excuses of delivering some documents to her office, hidden the knife inside his coat, walked to Chang’s office on the third floor, then, stabbed Chang in the thorax repeatedly, she’d bled out, and died before she could get to the hospital.
Chen, a friend of theirs told, that after Yin’s surgery for his oral cancer, he’d become emotionally unstable, and would be up at night, he’d often called him to try to soothe him; the former chair of the youth baseball team of Fuzi, Chiayi, Huang told, that Yin was always well-behaved growing up, and as he was on break, he’d always come back to his hometown, to teach the younger generations to play baseball, that he’d been ill of late.
As Yin attended the Fuzi Elementary School, he was a member of the youth baseball team, got the representative team of Taiwan, n the thirty-third William Porter Youth Baseball Qualifiers, he was the trifecta winner of homerun scorer, and, his team won the championship trophy in the world series that year.
So, how easily, a man cracks, because he felt that he’d, invested too much into the relationship, and, the woman was, deserting him, with the compounding trials of his own lack of sleep from his oral cancer, and his girlfriend’s wanting to break up, is that final straw, that made him commit murder.
