Father, Remembered, a Poem

How wisdoms come with, age, translated…

The Moments that Felt Too Real

Came & Went

I’d Owned, Too Many to, Count

Those Features After the Rain

The Hills in the Memories

The Species of Locally-Grown Mangoes

The Tracks of the Jokes of the Smokes on the

wiser, with the years…

found online

Chessboards

Still Fresh in My Mind

Out by the Super Convenience Shop, the Wooden Chair the Steel Tables

The Umbrella Rack a Pack of Sugar into the Americano

The Colors of the Moon, Lightly Painted on

Fuller, the Conversations in the Gazes

Added More to the Dreams, the Delusions

No Matter Who it Was

After Midlife

Some of the Seats Grew Quieter

With that Swirl of the Self

And so, this showed, how as we age, we’d gotten more time to ourselves, we’d learned to, reflect on our pasts, our behaviors, we’d become, more introspective with the coming of the years.
