The Grandson Refused to Take His Medications, and Started Screaming Like Crazy, the Grandmother Lost Control, Strangled Him to Death

Shouldered too much burdens, and this elderly woman finally, CRACKED, and committed murder, had this elderly woman sought out help, then, the grandson wouldn’t have been, murdered by her, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A seventy-five-year-old elderly woman in Taichung lost her son and daughter-in-law nine years ago, and her two young grandsons were, left in her care since, and, because her thirteen-year-old older grandson is severely mentally retarded, it’d become really difficult, caring for him, last year, she’d told him to take his medication, and he refused, she’d, strangled him with an elastic rope, killing him, the district attorneys believed that she had the intent to commit murder, charged this grandmother on murder yesterday, and, considering how she’d turned herself in, the D.A.’s office asked the courts to reduce the sentencing of this elderly woman.

The Social Services Department pointed out, that the elderly woman made bail before the New Year’s, and is now, living on her own, the younger grandson was left in the care of his own aunt, and in undergoing therapy in his school; the Domestic Violence Prevention Center is setting the elderly woman up for parenting lessons.

Based off of understanding, as the police came, the elderly woman claimed that “I didn’t mean it, I didn’t think my grandson would die like this”, and, as she’d made bail she’d shown remorse over what she did, and, became accepting, that she may have to answer to her crime of murdering her own grandson, her daughter visited her at home every day, giving her the emotional support of her family.

The indictment stated, that the elderly woman, because her son and daughter-in-law had died, she was left to raise her own two grandson alone, the eldest grandson is severely mentally retarded, difficulties in communications, expressing his needs, it’d made her tried, and, she’d felt, defeated.

On the early morning of October 8th of last year, the elderly told her eldest grandson to take his medications, but he wouldn’t, and started screaming, crying, and the elderly woman told her younger grandson to head off to school on his own, and because the eldest grandson kept throwing his tantrum, the elderly woman lost it, picked up the elastic workout rope from her chair for workout, subdued the grandson, then, wrapped the rope around his neck twice, then, clasped the rope together, so the grandson couldn’t break free.

The elderly woman then left her eldest grandson at home alone, went to her vegetable garden to water her vegetables, causing her grandson to die of asphyxiation by the elastic rope, strangling him.  As the elderly woman returned back to her home, she’d found her grandson showing no signs of life, and she’d, untied the rope, and turned herself in to the police.

And so, this case should’ve been, easily, avoided, had this elderly woman just, placed her grandchildren, whom she couldn’t take care of, in an institution, that way, the children would’ve received the proper care, the help they needed, and this murder of her own grandchild is still due to the accumulated stress of caring for two young children alone on her own.
