Drunk-Driving & Speeding, Killing a Person by Vehicular Manslaughter, and He Only Received Two Years, and was Allowed Probation

The investigators found that Me sped across the intersections, and hit the man, Lo who was riding on his bicycle, causing Lo to fall over, and sustained head trauma, multiple fractures on his body, after he was rushed to the hospitals, he’d died of external injuries causing shock.

After the accident, Mei stayed put at the intersections, and admitted to running the man over to the patrol officer who came, the courts believed that his admitted to drunk-driving, and running over the man fitted to the requirements of turning himself in, gave him a reduced sentence based off of Penal Code 62; Mei’s attorney asked for his sentence to be reduced due to circumstances, the courts believed, that there’d been the education of not getting behind the wheels drunk for a long time, and that there’s the higher degrees of punishment given with time, that Mei is an adult with enough knowledge, and still, he chose to get behind the wheels intoxicated, and killed a man, he wasn’t allowed the reduction of sentencing.

But considering how after killing the man as Mei got drunk and reached a settlement agreement with Lo’s families, and that Lo wasn’t entirely faultless, the victim’s families agreed to the reduction of the sentencing, and the probationary terms too.

And so, no matter how many cases of these drunk driving accidents had already been recurring, people still chose to get behind the wheels, drunk, and not realizing, that they just might, KILL someone, due to reckless behaviors, and besides, you should’ve found yourselves, designated drivers and if you can’t, hire a cab to take you home, so these shits won’t keep on happening, making this world, too, unsafe.
