A two-year-old young girl of Shinchuang, Hsinbei City, Lin, yesterday afternoon, fell out of the window of her own seventh floor home, landed on the road, and died on impact. The police investigated, that at the time, the young girl’s mother was hanging up the laundry out on the lanai, and left her alone with her three-year-old older brother in the bedrooms, and, they’d suspected that the bed was stacked up to around the same height as the window that looked outside, and the window wasn’t closed, that this accident had, occurred, the police investigators are still trying to clarify exactly, what had happened.
The incident happened at a fourteen-story housing complex on Shuan-Feng Road of Shinchuang, other than the back balcony of the apartment complexes, there’s no installations of the add-on iron windows. At around two in the afternoon yesterday, the thirty-two-year-old Chen was at home with her own two young children, back at the time, Chen was on the back balcony doing laundry, leaving her young children playing in the bedroom unattended, not long thereafter, the girl fell, with the screen window from the seventh floor to the pavement, next to the underground garage driveway.
Because the security guard’s station is right next to the driveway, the security guard found the girl, fallen, lying in a pool of blood, he was so thrilled he’d immediately notified emergency, but, by the time the ambulance rushed over, the young girl was apparently, deceased.
Chen was heartbroken, told that back then, she was still hanging up the laundry load, and her three-year-old young son rushed over to her and told, “younger sister fell out of the window”. She’d immediately gone to the bedroom to check, and found that the screen window along with her daughter, both fell to the ground level.
The police investigated the location, found that there were two beds pushed together next to the walls, and the level of the bed was around the same height as the window, and outside the window, the pavement down below on the streets. Chen told, because she needed to have the fresh air in her home, that’s why she kept the window open, but can’t recall how widely the window was opened up.
The police in the preliminary investigations deducted, that the young girl may have been playing on the bed, and accidently pushed through the screen, and fell, but, if the window was closed or opened, it’s still pending investigations. This accidental death has to do with the setting of the household, and the structures of the buildings, the police called out to the community residents of tall buildings to add on a steel window blocker, or a gadget that sets the windows to open up to only certain degrees, to not put the furniture that children can use to climb up next to the windows, and best to not let young children out of the adults’ sights, to avoid the dangerous situations.
And, this is still negligence, it’s the mother who stepped away, I mean, she’s only out back on the back balcony, hanging up the laundry load, what COULD happen, right? And it’s because of her carelessness, that this young girl died, this still showed, how we all need to, watch our (collectively speaking!) own young like HAWKS, because if we don’t, they will get into huge troubles, and who knows, they just might, “commit suicide” by hanging (like that little boy who’d played with the strings of the window curtains???), or by leaping OUT of their homes, like this little girl had.
