A middle school female student in the northern cities sent the footage of her own masturbation to her boyfriend, her boyfriend passed the footages to friends, then, the video went viral, started getting spread out in the schools, and in the cram schools too, even her best friend had, sent the footage to the group online with sixteen members; she was psychologically damaged, started self-mutilating, and, sued her boyfriend who’d forwarded the video, her best friend, along with seven other people, and asked for four million dollars N.T. The Taipei District Court found that the invasion of her privacy was valid, and found that all of the nine she sued to pay anywhere from $20,000N.T. to $100,000N.T., and because all nine individuals that were sued were minors, the parents are made to pay as collateral.
In May of 2018, the victim started filming herself masturbating and sending it to her boyfriend to watch, the following February, her boyfriend sent the footages through FB messenger to friends, and the friends passed the video along, and the video of the adolescent’s masturbation went viral. The adolescent claimed, that her boyfriend, her best friend, plus seven others, without her consent, forwarded the footage of her filming her own body out to others, that they’d, broken the laws on privacy, causing her to have emotional meltdowns, that she’d started, mutilating herself, she’d demanded that both her boyfriend and her best friend pay her a million dollars N.T. each, and the rest of the seven who’d passed along the video pay anywhere from $200,000N.T. to $600,000N.T.s.
The boyfriend rebutted, that he’d only, sent the video to one other friend, that he’d not, passed it along, that after he’d sent the footage to his friend, he’d deleted the file, that it wasn’t his fault that the video went viral, that before this, the adolescent was already, emotionally troubled and started self-mutilating already, that there were the treatment records for her being hospitalized, that it wasn’t caused, solely by the video going viral at all. The other eight held no objections to the adolescent’s asking, but believed that the asking amount for the damages were, way too high.
The judge took the reports of the investigations of the reports of the gender equality commissions of the school, found that the nine had spread the video online, that it’d, damaged the adolescent girl’s right to privacy. The verdict pointed out, that as the boyfriend sent the footages to his friend, he could foresee that the video will get send to another, and considering how he is a minor, that his parents didn’t watch him closely enough, mandated that he and his parents pay the adolescent girl $100,000N.T.s.
And her best friend, knew that she was the one in the video, and still streamed the video to the group of sixteen that she had, causing the video go to viral, the courts mandated her pay the adolescent $100,000N.T.s. For the remaining seven, based off of how many others they’d passed the video to, they were mandated to pay anywhere from $20,000N.T. to $30,000N.T. each.
And so, there’s still, NO victim, only, STUPIDITY, but, as you may have already known, that the prefrontal cortex (area of your brain in charge of decision making, the ability to foresee the consequences of your own actions before you act on them???) is yet to be fully developed, that’s why this case happened, and, because we all want our bodies to get noticed by our boyfriends, and so, why not, just, film ourselves, masturbating, and send it to our separate boyfriends to watch, so they get turned on by us??? And, it’s still due to this, I want to show my “stuff” (what stuff???) mindset, the I want to share with you, everything of mine (body, mind, soul, heart…), that’s why this SHIT had, happened, and there’s only the abusers AND enablers here in this case, NO victims!
