Last month in Changhwa, there were the animal protections personnel’s stray dogs that they’d adopted that went, missing, the animal rights’ activists worried that the dogs may have gotten slaughtered and cooked as meat, they’d started taking the shifts in guard, and found the thieves, the father-son pair, the Yos; the two had stolen at least FOUR dogs, and the reason was that the son had oral cancer, and they were, “sacrificing the dogs to help the son get better”. As the police were notified, they’d arrested the father-son pair, charged them with theft, and, returned all the dogs they’d, captured, back to their, original, owners.
The animal protection activist, Dong stated, that she and her group had been feeding the strays long term, at the end of last month, four of the strays they took care of went missing, and they were worried, that the dogs may have gotten snatched by the dog traffickers, and became food on someone else’s plates. Other than posting the posters, warning that it was illegal to catch the dogs if they’re not animal protection agency officials, they’d also, started taking the shifts, keeping watch, to block off the thieves, from snatching more dogs away.
On the afternoon of the 26th of last month, the animal protection activists found the father and son pair, the Yos behaving suspiciously, and as soon as the animal protection activists were spotted, the father-son pair would, ride off, and at night, the two reappeared at the location again, the animal protection activists blocked them, and called the cops.
The father-son pair lives in the countryside of Nantou, and as they were caught, they’d admitted to capturing four stray dogs, one had run off; back then, the two stated that they were capturing the strays, because they wanted them as pets, as the police interrogated the two, they were charged with theft, and sent into booking.
But, Ms. Dong said, afterwards, as the members of the animal protection activists went to Yo’s residence to get the stolen stray dogs back, they’d found something horrific in the storage of their home, there were, four, to five kennels, and after they’d forced the father and son to tell them the truth, the father and son finally owned up to it, that because the son had oral cancer, they needed to kill the black dogs, as offerings to God, to help his son continue living longer.
Ms. Dong was in disbelief, that in this day and age, this sort of thing was actually happening. The local neighbors also said, that on the third floor of the Yo’s home, there was a shrine, that they’d been, capturing strays all this time, to make the sacrifice; and another neighbor testified to the fact, of seeing the dogs’ bodies getting dragged out of the Yo’s household in the middle of the nights.
And so, yeah, how would YOU like it, if someone made a LIFE sacrifice out of you, huh? And, I’m sure, that this is just, another excuse, for this man, for his own, bad behaviors of, animal cruelty, and it’s, unimaginable to think, that at this day and age, people are actually, believers, of this sort of, BULLSHIT!!!
