In a, meditative, state, sitting here, with the rest of, the customers, inside, a café, after work, translated…
As the sun sets, there were always, the shops that were, willing to, light up the way for the locals. These lights opened up those bright words, to give that sense of security to those pedestrians on the streets, and, it makes it easy, to see what’s going on inside the shops too. There were, the groups of college students, gathering, laughing and talking together, those scheduled comers that always come after work to put an end to their workdays, those who are, rushing off, wit the umbrellas, and, there were, those who are, not doing anything particular, giving that sense of story to this, small town. The cold wind greedily took over the streets, the guests, when they don’t want to feel the cold, started, hanging around the café, to get a refill of their drinks, continued sending the warmth from one’s own, cell phones. There are, close to, ten suns that Houyi could’ve never imagined, accompanying the guests, as they sought out the meanings of the light. It’s a mirror, with unknown first rays of the dawn, waking, or, was it, the reality, that’s been, refracted, from the drinking glasses, some of the secrets are worth, sipping down slowly, like that good wine. Body is, a stranger creature, loved the cold, and the warmth too, but, being alone, it doesn’t matter the weather conditions, it makes the individuals, better at, introspection. Or maybe, we live, in the loud raucous too long, being alone, it gives us time to, space out, the blue skies, the white clouds, had, nothing to them. We can put whatever we want into them, like airplane, fireworks, the birds, the kites, none of it looked, or appeared, odd. Seemed, that being along, gives us, a whole lot of space, other than, settling down that echo, maybe, to fill these lives of, ours, helps us, in making the decisions we need to make.

And so here, spacing out, has a purpose, it not only offered us, some time off, from our ordinary grind, it also, gives us, that time we need, to look within ourselves, to have that, needed, internal dialogue we hadn’t had, in a long time too.
