Unsafe, in his, workplace, encountering, you-know-who every day of his work here!  Off of the Newspapers, translated…

Two days at noon, Liu, after he had lunch with friends, took the Guoguan Bus home, the driver, Wu asked him to put on his mask nicely, Liu refused, and got angered, and started, beating on Wu the driver, as Wu was hit, he’d, immediately called the cops, he’d suffered from contusions on his ear, his face, his head, and was in a stand-off until the police arrived.  The police caught Liu in the act in assault, arrested him, but this case showed, how the driver’s verbal advisories can cause them risk of being attacked, while the local governments and the bus companies didn’t set any rules, to improve the safety of the workers either.

On November 21st of last year, an artist was upset that the super convenience store clerk asked him to put on his mask, got angered, and stabbed the worker to death, after this, the four major chains decided to not demand the workers to verbally advise, instead, using the signs, and the announcer systems, to get the shoppers to wear their masks, to ensure the safety of the workers.

The Da-An Police Substation told, that on the afternoon of the fourth, the officers arrived on site, saw the driver, Wu sitting at the driver’s seat, accused Liu for beating him, and pressed charges on assault, Liu admitted to it.  Wu told, that Liu was intoxicated as he’d stumbled onto his bus, not worn his mask, he’d asked Liu to put one on, Liu ignored him, and as the other passengers got off, he’d moved close to the driver’s seat, to confront him, and started swinging at him.  The police took the reading of Liu’s breathalyzer, it was 0.71 mg.

The super convenience store clerk getting stabbed to death in Taoyuan sparked up the debates, but the bus companies seemed to have been, not made aware.  The offices of public transportation stated, that there’s NO incident of confrontation of customers with drivers on the matter of not wearing a mask yet; if the passengers refused to put the masks on after being asked to, the driver has the right to refuse passage, or to call the police.

The Taoyuan Bus Company told, that as soon as the passengers alighted, the driver normally use the P.A. or the running screen to remind them to put the masks on, and if the passengers didn’t have one on, they’d asked the drivers to verbally advise, and if the passengers refused after being asked repeatedly, then, the drivers are told, to notify the police; and because most of the passengers would put the masks on, and, those who forgot would listen to the driver’s telling them to, there’s, NO physical confrontations that’s happened.

And so, this, is, an isolated incident, because this man was, drunk, and that’s why, he’d, interpreted the driver’s asking him to put on his mask too overly, and because he was drunk, he lacked impulse control, because alcohol impairs judgment, and can cause people to overinterpret things, that, was how this had, happened, and this man is right to be charged with physical assault on the driver.
