Accidents still happen, even IF you are, considered, an experience in sports here!  Untimely death, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

Wang, with certifications of aerial sports, who’d been paragliding for around a decade, on the fourth of this month, went with his four fellow paragliders to Tiger’s Head Mountain in Puli, Nantou for the sports outing, they’d originally set to fly from the hilltop to the local farms, then return back, but, the air currents hit them, and, the whole crew was forced to emergency land in the East Eye Mountain regions; Wang wasn’t successful in emergency landing, he’d, fallen from the skies, and, died, the investigators are currently sorting through the evidence to see if the death was caused by weather, his own manipulation of his flight suit, equipment, or some other causes.

Based off of understanding, the forty-eight year-old Wang is a P4 standard level paraglider, second, only to the P5 field rate paraglider, is rich in experiences, and has the capabilities to fly a paraglider on his own, on the afternoon, he set out from Puli’s Tiger’s Head Peak with four others who shared the love for the sport, they were to land in the Chingjing Farms area in Jen-Ai, then, fly out, and return to the location they set out from.

As the five flew to above the East Eye Mountain regions of Jen-Ai, the air currents hit, the paragliders lost the momentum to rise up, and the entire crew were forced to emergency land themselves, four of whom safely landed, Wang was the only one who couldn’t, and fell to his death from the heights.

The witnessing fellow paragliders told, that at the time, like everybody else, Wang was about to emergency land on the rivers, but, when he was twenty-meters above land, he’d let out a loud yelp, seemed to have been hit by the air currents, which caused the side of his paraglider to get tucked in, and he couldn’t open up the extra, lost control, and fell from high up above; as the group had landed, they’d searched for him, and found him, fallen into a pond of a camping area.

Wang’s lower body was in the water, lost consciousness; his fellow paragliders pulled him out, and performed the emergency resuscitations measures on him, called emergency, but he was too severely injured, he’d still died.

The police stated, that currently, they had yet to be able to confirm if it was caused by the weather, the equipment malfunction or improper operations of the paragliders; the local government stated, that as they’d checked, there’s no signs of breaking any rules.

And so, this is how, dangerous this sport can be, and yet, there are those who are into the thrills, the rushes, from being in midair, to have, no control over one’s own surrounding environment, and it’s because of an accident that this senior, experienced paraglider had, died.
