The Medical Examiner Originally Listed the Cause of Death as Illness, the Twenty-Four-Year-Old Officer Saw the Strangulation Marks on the Neck, and Reviewed the Surveillance, and, Made an Arrest, the D.A. Asked the Courts to Take the Suspect into Custody
The sixty-five-year-old woman, Feng was found dead by her husband on the afternoon of the 26th of this month, she has the medical histories of high blood pressure and diabetes, the medical examiner originally listed the cause of death as myocardial infarction, the families didn’t have any disagreements on it; but the officer of the local substation, Tao found that there were bruises on the neck, found it suspicious, and, investigated on the matter, and found that it was the thirty-four-year-old tenant, Liu who’d burglarized the resident, and the landlady walked in on him, and he’d, killed her, in the midnight hours of last, they’d arrested him, the district attorney’s office, after interrogating him, had the police taken him into custody.
Liu was a former cheerleading competitor, won the Southeast Asian open bronze medal back in 2012; he’d rented the apartment downstairs to the deceased home, and, stayed for three days, and hadn’t paid his first month’s rent, and committed robbery and murder. At his arrest, Liu didn’t admitted to murder, instead, he’d asked the police, “how will the death penalty get carried out?”
The police investigated, that Feng and her husband live in an add-on of the roof of an apartment in Sinchuang District of Hsinbei City, their fifth floor home went up for rent, in mid-November, they’d just, leased the place out to Liu and, gave him until the start of December to pay his first month’s rent, Liu moved in on the 24th.
The husband of the deceased owned a printing company, at three in the morn on the 26th, he went out for exercise, and went straight to work, returned home by five that day, found his wife on the floors, not breathing, called emergency, and his wife was, dead.
Feng had the medical histories of hypertension, diabetes, and she just gotten her vaccination on the 23rd, because there are no visible external injuries, the coroner believe she died of myocardial infarction, and wrote out the death certificate. And in the process of her autopsy, the families gave no opinions, but the officer found bruising on the victim’s neck, and followed the family home, and reviewed the surveillance footage, found that at four in the morning on the 26th, someone climbed into Feng’s resident through the windows, and, they found it was Liu.
After Liu committed murder, he’d acted as if nothing happened, stayed at his rental place, as the officers questioned him, they believed he was a primary suspect, and had the district attorney written his arrest warrant out overnight, a search warrant for his place, at midnight last night, he was arrested, and they’d found the drug coffee packs in his residence.
At first, the police didn’t have solid evidences of his crime, Liu’s attorney asked for his released, and was at a face-off with the police, until they’d reviewed over the surveillance, found Liu breaking and entering into the home twice, and, took the pillow of the deceased with him, and after he rode his scooter to Sanchong after breakfast, where he’d, disposed of the pillow, then, head to the pawn shop to pawn the jewelries he’d stolen, but the pawn shop wouldn’t take them.
The police interrogated Liu through the night, and, yesterday morn, Liu finally cracked, he’d admitted that it was a burglary gone bad, that he’d, strangled Feng from behind, smothered her with the pillow until she’d stopped struggling, and took the pillow with him, to cover up his tracks.
The police suspected that Liu’s motive for burglary was he didn’t earn any income during the outbreak, and he has a drug habit, and was in need of money. He didn’t know that the surveillance were install at his landlady’s home, the second time he broke in was captured on tape.
And so, this, is how this escalated to murder, because this man couldn’t get enough money to feed to his drug habit, and he’d, burglarized his landlady’s home, and she walked in, and, he’d, murdered her in cold-blood, and, attempted to dispose of the evidence, and he still got caught.
