Future’s, in the fog here, for the, younger generations of “children” who are, graduating, next! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The admissions rate of universities and colleges are at an all-time high, Professor Huang Educational Foundation posted the survey results of polled college students on introspection, ideals, and their dreams, although, there are over seventy-percent of the students who believed, that the major they’re in corresponds with their ability, skillsets, and interest profiles, but there are, forty-percent of students who “doubt the value and worth of a university education”. The experts were straight in stating, that this, is a warning sign the society needs to examine carefully, and that they believed, that it’s because of how college is easily accessible to all students, and, how as the students graduated out of the four-year-program, they’re only, receiving the payrates of two-year-community college students, which was why it’d caused the college students to “doubt the purpose of receiving a higher education”.
The survey showed, that there are, seventy-percent of students who believed, that what they learned in school, can help them achieve their own dreams, and believed, that the goals in their life is “having a satisfying job”; but, there are, over forty-percent of students currently in college who’d stated, “I’m doubtful over what I’m studying in the universities”.
The professor of an educational foundation believe, that higher education originally served the purpose of helping students move up the social status quo and to help better the functions of the families, but, the jobs these college graduates found, may not be ideal to them, which was what’s causing them to feel this way. Of the results, technical university students felt more of this, more than the regular university students, and the engineering majors more than liberal arts and natural science majors, this is worth noting.
The assistant director of the Examination Department, Lee stressed, that this, is an alarm that we need to, take seriously, reason being, that the majors offered in the universities and colleges didn’t match up to the workforce needs, or that the enterprises are only looking for those students with the professional knowledge in the fields already, but, pulled the professionalism of the skills into the college level or grad school, but as the students graduated, they only received the payrates of a student out of community college.
The former head of Department of Education, Wu believed, that university education is available to everybody, unlike how in the past, the students needed to work really hard, to pass the entrance exams. He’d suggested that the universities should enforce the three areas of focus in education, life, living, and career-building.
And so, this is due to the prevalent of universities available in this country, they all just, started, sprouting back up like the weeds after a rain in springtime, and, the government had, achieved the goals of making a college education more accessible to all, sure, but, in the process the quality of students are, lowered, by a hell of a lot, think on it, if EVERYBODY can get in, then, yeah, the worth of education heads, down that, slippery slope here…
