How the government is still just, treating the symptoms of the conditions that’s causing the illness of the society, and NOT the illness itself! Missing the point, this government still keeps on going at it wrong! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The violence keeps on recurring in society now, the baseball bat became a weapon in assault, the head of internal affairs, Hsu demanded the police to “tag the baseball bats”, but, this action is a violation of basic human rights, just because someone is being pulled over, and it doesn’t solve anything; call it whatever you want to, but, this showed, that the violence on the streets are becoming more and more, prevalent, how the gangs are, endangering the safety in society, and the police want to perform the operations using a baseball bat, using the labels to help fill up the holes, clearly, the police departments are, treating the matter, with a good cure.
What is violent is the perpetrators, not the tools used in the acts of violence, the baseball bats can be used to smash up cars, can be used to beat someone, so can a golf club, hammer, or even, the wooden panels too, are they going to, ban all of that? If the members of the public are carrying any of these listed items, but not used it to commit a crime, and even if the members of the public has a record with the police previously, does that mean, that the police can, arrest? This is an abuse of power of the country, and it’d, made people feel, that the government is too, impotent, that the government only cared about the details, and not the big pictures.
On the matter of street violence, the offices of internal affairs, the police affairs department “got the wrong point”, like how as the suicide rates hiked up, not zooming in on the causes of psychological wellbeing, the socioeconomic statuses, the depression of the economy, and simply, place the restrains on the sales of charcoal, to want to lower the rates of suicide by burning the charcoals, this sort of a wayward evaluation, is stupid, and laughable.
To get the society safer, it should start at the sources, for instance, a crackdown on drugs, chasing down the smuggling rings, the cooking plants, instead of busting only the abusers; the gangs relied on fraud, gambling, and drug-dealing, and other means to make a living, the police needs to crack down on these harder, to zoom in on catching the illegal means of ways to make their living, to dissolve the criminal activities.

And so, the government is, missing the B-O-A-T on all of this, instead of cracking down on the sources, the origins of the problems, they are going after the side-effects of things, the details that are, too unimportant, that don’t SOLVE these, problem in the society, and this showed, how narrow-sighted this government that’s ruling over this country is, and it’s no wonder, that the streets are, getting more, and more dangerous here, because the government does NOT do enough, to protect the welfare of the people.
