How’s, ten years ten months enough, LIFE in prison, or even, the DEATH penalty would be, more fitting, don’t you think??? And the attitudes of these, unfitting, parents, still kept, evading their responsibilities of the parts they’d played, in the abuse and death of their own, infant daughter, on punishments that still don’t quite, FIT the CRIMES here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The Indonesian man, Long after his argument with his wife, he’d, slammed his own five-months-old infant daughter down hard, covered the infant’s nose and mouth, suffocated her to death, and taped the body up into a “mummy”, and stored it in the ice bins, then, headed to the beaches with the woman he was having an affair with to the beaches to bury the body, as he was arrested, he’d denied the allegations of abuse. The judge went down hard on him, grilled him on the manners which he took to murder his own young, that there was NO remorse after he’d committed the murder, the Taiwan High Courts charged him on abusing a child to death, and other charges, gave him ten years ten months; this can still be appealed.
The investigations found, that the twenty-four-year-old man, Long and his wife Chen, has two daughters, last year in June, after he had a verbal altercation with his wife, he’d, picked up his younger daughter, slammed her down hard onto the floors, then, covered up the young child’s mouth and nose with a towel, while his wife, stood by, and watched him abuse the infant girl; after the infant girl died, Long wrapped the body up and stored her in the ice bins for three days, took the body out, placed the body into the storage compartment of his scooter, and had the woman he was having an affair with, Lin, coming with him to the beach, where they’d, dug that hole, and tossed the infant’s body in. The infant girl was found to have sustained multiple external injuries, bleeding internally and externally, the coroner’s reports showed, that the infant was killed by getting thrown down hard, all three adults were, indicted.
The Taoyuan District Court found, that Long wasn’t patient enough with taking care of his own young, and took out his own emotions on the infant child, that he’d lacked that general respect for life, his behaviors were, malicious, and after he was caught, he’d still evaded responsibilities, without an inkling of remorse in him; and the courts found him guilty on intentionally abusing a child to death, abandoning of the body, gave him a ten-year-ten-months sentence, and, the courts sentenced Long’s wife for disposing of the body for six months. At Long’s request, Lin dug the hole on the beaches, an accessory to disposing of the body, sentenced to five months in prison, on probation for two months, and mandated to pay the treasury a total of $50,000N.T.
Long and his wife fought for an appeal, the High Courts judge interrogated them at the opening of the trials, “Why is there external injuries on the infant’s head?”, Long claimed that as he walked out of the bathroom, he saw his daughter in a coma, he’d originally wanted to call up his older sister for help, but his wife used a knife and threatened him not to; his wife cried, that the injuries on her daughter, were all caused by her husband, back then she was pregnant, with her older daughter in her arms, couldn’t save the younger daughter. The High Courts tossed back the couple’s appeal, maintained the rulings from the first trial.
And, the worst part is not how this infant girl got abused to death, but the attitude of these, awful parents, after they got caught, they’d, NOT admitted to what they did to hurt their own young, but instead, pointed fingers, evaded their own, responsibilities, and, people like these don’t DESERVE to live! And yet, they still all got just, that, slap on the wrists here.
