The three vicious youths driving beamers due to a fender-bender, beaten the college student, Song into a comatose, and, in the rants of the public, the vicious youths were, arrested, and their parents, kneeled down to apologize for them on their behalf, the officer who’d not taken this seriously enough, gotten demoted, the head of State also, asked for a stricter investigation on the matters. But, can Tsai’s government, give the parents in the country, more feelings of security, more courage, to stay, in Taiwan?
Song’s mother told, that after what happened to her own son, she’d felt, unsafe, that she didn’t have the courage to stay in Taiwan anymore, hoping, that the law enforcements can come down HARD on the law breakers, that there should be ZERO tolerance, that a SEVERE sentence is, absolutely, necessary; every single word she’d spoken aloud, had been the accusation of how the police, the justice system, and the government, had FAILED in its duties toward the people, to protect us.
There was the news of a construction worker getting abused by the agency workers to death at the end of last month too, other than the primary suspect, the rest of the accomplices are, in their, early twenties. And, the primary suspect was out on only, a $50,000N.T. bail, the birthmother of the victim, begged the former legislator, Yen for help. The “Mess of Songshan” from six months ago, the Songshan Substation’s Zhongluen Subprecinct was broken into by assailants dressed in black, the workers were shouted at, cussed out, pushed, and shoved, the computers at the workstations, smashed, and yet, the station manager set up the handshakes of the parties, and, deleted the surveillance footages to destroy the evidence of the vandalism, causing the members of the public to get heated up, and, the public went out to speak up against the violence, and, were all displeased at how the police handled the matter.
So why is it, that there’s, more and more violence in the society now, but the police are, not as active, in making the arrests, to protect the people of the local citizens, the people feel more and more unsafe in the world, and, this reflected on the need of the vigilante justices, of how people felt compelled to take matters into their, own hands.
The parents of the vicious youths who’d beaten the male college students into a coma, other than getting down on their knees to apologize, their food company was, forced to, go out of business. Surely, the parents didn’t fulfill their responsibilities as parents, but, the adults should be accountable for their own, misbehaviors too, and, are these vigilante justices, really good, for the betterment of, society here?
The safety in the society should NOT be left up to the locals to keep; the head of state, Su only cared about that broom that sweeps the grounds clean to the very end; but that does NOT add to the “courage the people needed, to continue to stay living in Taiwan!”
And so, this is how the miniscule, can, run bigger, bigger, bigger, like that drop of water that causes, a tiny ripple first, then the ripple expands, outward, getting bigger, bigger, and bigger, and this is still a top-down problem, because the heads of the government officials don’t ENFORCE the laws, like the above mentioned how the police department got broken into, but, no harsh enough punishments were handed down, because police are people to, and they also, feared for their lives, they’re just, in uniforms, and, this is still a problem, starting, way up from the very top, because this god damn government does NOT set a good example, how the @#$% can you expect, those of us, who are, lower down on the totem poles, to have a better example to follow, and surely, this country became, corrupt, to the, CORES here!
