The worries of this younger generation of students who are entering into college, what values they are picking up, from all around them, of a high school principal, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
“Attainment” is the keyword of this current wave of education reform. Since the setting up of the reforms of education back in 2014, and the implementation of the policy formally by 2019, moral education became, the core values of the various levels of education. Whether it be teacher’s training, moral education lessons, it’s all linked to this current generation of students’ knowledge acquisition, attitude and abilities. The discussed for many years’ college admissions means is about to get put to the test. The bad designs of the systems can be made up for by the rolling methods of reinforcement of the means, if this isn’t done in time, then, what would be affected, would be an entire nations’ worth of moral education for the citizens of this country.
First, testing into a public position isn’t as easy as getting into politics. Since the passing of the amendments in human rights based off of international regulations, the new curriculum also viewed the matter of human rights as a major subject of discussion, the rights of students increase immensely with it, this is something worth noting for sure, a symbol of democracy progressing. And yet, in the entire process of making it all happen, the politics involved, along with the spreading of the influences of the politics being involved, it’s currently altering the views the students have of the world. A lot of the students, from the hard working ways, to accumulate the knowledge, and climbing the ladders to success got turned into their drive toward politics, as the paths to success. You can’t count the number of students who’d earned their places in higher up politics quickly, through their involvements in the marches and political goings ons; and yet, look at those students who are working really hard in their studies, they can’t see where their futures lie!
And, the abilities of what the person can do, pale by comparison to a colorful résumé. In the past, the values of “working hard toward a goal”, is slowly getting ignored by the new policies. From before, we believe, that an excellent work is produced, through focus, and hard work, no matter where you are, or how others see you, so long as you work hard, you will get, noted.
And yet, the designs of the Learning Process Profiles, it’d limited the students constantly (the deadlines, the number of projects and activities, format, theme, etc., etc., etc.), and they’d also worried if their projects fitted to the college admissions professors evaluations. Although the managing units of the admissions posted the three focuses (when evaluating, the professor should note the ability to problem-solve of he students, the activities the students are involved in school, and the reality of what’s written down, and NOT by quantity); the designs are out of goodwill, but it’s actually, hard to put the evaluation means into practice. Not mentioning the technical problem of the lost of the data submitted by the students from awhile ago, looking at the quantities of projects by the students by the semester (year), you can see, that the upping the quantity is more important than making sure that the students acquired the capabilities.
Finally, those who are honest should just, admit to losing now. Honesty is one of the most basic moral demands of being humans, a foundation to having a fully developed personality, the attainment of education is in that helping the students have that honesty within them, demanding the students not cheat on their exams, to say what they mean, to do as they preached, to make sure that the data they provided are truthful. But in the adult world, there’s the, “we only care about what color you are, not right or wrong!” is at play, and, “double-standards” became, synonymous with, flexibility of mind. The collapse of the value systems, how can education be successful?
And, this man’s worries, are, warranted, because, the morality is heading down that slippery slope, and it’s still, a long, long ways down, until it hit, rock bottom, because with the examples that this current government is setting (cutting corners in passing the laws that favored it, amending the number of votes needed to kick someone out of the office, etc., etc., etc.), and it is, worrisome, because, this is, what we’re, raising our next generations by, bad rules, and, because the government does NOT set a better example for all, and, we who are of sound mind, who can tell right FROM wrong, don’t have a loud enough voice, because let’s face it, our voices are, getting, drowned OUT here, the next generation of the leaders are going to continue leading this country down that road to ruins, and, there’s NOTHING we can do about it, because, we’re, used to living, as SLAVES of the government, and besides, why the @#$% bother go to the polls to vote, I mean, the DDP can twist and turn the results of election TO their favors, like they’d already done here, so, basically, we’re all, SCREWED here!
