The Counts of Police Pulling the Teacher Who Taught the African Drums, Conducted an Illegal, Unasked For Search Had the Indictment Against Them Dropped

The abuse of police power, and these officers still got away, with NOT even, a slap on their, wrists, with the police brutality charges, dropped.  This is, injustice!  And yet, the D.A.’s decided that both charges they’re suing each other, wouldn’t stand up, so, no one’s held, accountable, for the physical assault of this, African drum instructor, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The patrol officer, Yeh from Zhongli Police Substation of Taoyuan, demanded the African drum instructor, Jeng to show him her identification, and she’d said no, and as the woman stated, “This is stupid!”, he’d, used the over-the-shoulder judo throw move to subdue Jeng, and, she was charged with obstruction of police business, and forced acts; the Taoyuan D.A.’s office finished assessing the case six months afterwards, found that Yeh was conducting an illegal, no just-cause search, but didn’t force, nor intended to harm the woman, Jeng, and Jeng didn’t obstruct police business either, both got their separate charges, dropped.

At eight in the morn on April 28th, as the officer, Yeh patrolled the Xin-Hsin Road in Zhongli, he’d found Jeng to behave suspiciously, pulled her over, asked to see her identification, Jeng thought that he had no just cause, refused.  During the time when they were arguing, Jeng blurted out, “You are really stupid!”, and Yeh used a Judo move to throw her over and pinned her down.  Jeng sustained injuries on her hands, and knees, with the ankle cuffs on her, taken in for insulting an office, and obstruction of police business.  Jeng sued Yeh for forced behaviors, wrongful arrest, and assault too.

The D.A. believed, that the charges of insulting an officer is based off of the duties of the officer, that Yeh subjectively believed, that Jeng was suspicious showing up where she’d shown up at, and pulled her over, but the video recordings showed, that Jeng was dressed and looked proper, that the stop wasn’t “by just cause”, and Jeng’s blurting aloud, “You’re really stupid”!  also didn’t constitute as public insult of a government official.

On Yeh being charged with physical assault and obstruction of Jeng’s freedom, the D.A. found, that although Yeh’s pulling Jeng over had no just causes, but, based off of how “Jeng appeared at a hotzone for crimes, with just two suitcases, looking slim”, that it didn’t carry the intent of obstruction of personal freedom, and so, it didn’t constitute as forced behavior charges; while when Jeng was being arrested, she’d fought hard, and, rammed into the center of the streets, the officer pinned her down, to prevent more dangers to her, didn’t go beyond what was needed to be done, that it wasn’t, overboard either, that it’d not met the requirements to fulfill the charges of physical assault.

And so, both sides didn’t win, and the woman still lost, and what does this incident tell us?  Oh yeah, the police have the right to be brutal with us, because they SAW just cause, because of the way we dressed our selves, where we are, at night, walking down the streets, and this, is just not right, because, if a law-abiding citizen like this woman can get called and pinned down, brutally by the law enforcement officials, then, we are all, at risk, of having similar things, happening to us too!
