The Four Drug and Gun Suspects Lived Next Door, as They’d Heard the Commotion, They Made Their Escapes, One was Arrested, the Other Three, at Large
The two patrol officers in Kaohsiung yesterday went to a suite across the districts to catch a suspect of murder in his eighties, but the four criminals with drug and gun possessions heard them coming, thought they got caught, and ran away; the officer, Chen was hit by a ricochet bullet in the gun fire, injured his left calf, but still pursued Liu the suspect with his colleagues, the police is now, chasing the three other suspects who weren’t in their custody.
The twenty-seven-year-old officer, Chen when interviewed, stated, that it’s the police’s job to check for those who are out on the run, that this was the very first time he came face-to-face with such a dangerous situation, thankfully, he’d only sustained minor abrasions, that it wouldn’t, affect his future work at the police forces.
The local officers, Chen and Liu received the tips, that a suspect of murder who’d been sentenced to eight years, the elderly man, Huang who’d been charged with attempted murder, was hiding out at a four-story mansion in Sanming District, that there were the rental suites of the mansion, and because of the tips were right on the two officers dressed in every day clothes, without their guns, went to the local areas to visit around. There are three rental suites on each of the floors of the mansion, the two officers knocked on the first suite, Liu (age 48) and four other men rammed out, in the chaos, someone fired a shot, the ricochet hit Chen on the left calf; with his injuries, Chen still worked with his coworkers, and successfully subdued Liu, with the other three running, escaping out of the mansion, leapt onto a white sedan, the two didn’t get to close the car door quick enough, and got thrown out as the car started, limped their ways to a black sedan, and escaped.
The backup arrived, and arrested Liu, took Chen to the hospital; Chen wasn’t injured severely, got wrapped up, and discharged from the hospital. The police arrested the elderly, Huang with an active arrest warrant, took him in, and afterwards, they’d found about seven hundred grams worth of amphetamine, and what seemed like heroine, huge sums of the needles, eleven bullets, and, five set of blanks.
Liu claimed that it wasn’t him who’d shot the police, and denied being in possession of guns, or the drugs; the police investigated, that Liu and his three companions all had drug priors, and was in the next room of the man with the active arrest warrant, that they’d not known each other. Maybe they ran because they thought the police were, onto them. The men on the run were a fifty year-old Lin, nicknamed “Kindness”, and another, “Bullet”, and the two sedans that they got away in had separate drivers inside, they are now, listed, as suspects too, the case is worked as an attempted murder, drugs, and arms.
The mayor of Kaohsiung Chen yesterday evening arrived in the second police substation at Sanming, with the head of police chief, Huang, handed out the awards of bravery to Chen, and Liu, commended Chen on arresting one man after he was, shot.
