Disputes that’s turned, physical here! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The man, Tseng was invited out to a luncheon by his friend, Chung, after the drinks, they’d started playing that game of dice in the rooms with a bowl, see who rolls out the higher numbers, with the bets of a hundred dollar each time, and, half way through the games, the two started arguing over the winnings, in the physical fight, Tseng threw the bowl, and it’d hit Chung, right on his left eye, the lens on his right eye was out of place, after his surgery, his sight deteriorated, to the point of, nearly legally blind. The Taoyuan District Court found Tseng guilty of physical assault, sentenced him to six months in prison, this can be appealed.
The investigators found, at noon of June 1st, 2019, Chung invited Tseng to a restaurant at Yangmei District with a friend, Peng, the group were drinking in the box, and suggested that they should play that game of rolling the dice, taking turns being the dealer, with the bets starting at a hundred dollars N.T.
Half way through the games, Tseng and Chung got into it on who should take the money, plus, both were previously drinking, things became heated up, they’d started physically engaging, in the process, Tseng was angered, picked up the bowl, threw it, and it’d hit Chung on the left eye, causing external injuries, and his lens falling out of his eyes, bleeding in his eye, Chung got the lens removed surgically, and had the implant, and his sight deteriorated to close to being completely blind.
As Tseng was sued in court, he’d admitted to what he did, which matched Chung’s testimonies, and, based off of the reports of the injuries, and the medical professional’s testimonies, that there is, no chance that the patient’s sight of his left eye will be improved.
The courts measured, that Chung knew, that pulling and tugging with someone, may hurt others, and, accidentally, threw the bowl out, hitting Chung on his left eye, causing permanent damage, considering how he was truthful, not dodged responsibility, that he’d originally, told he was willing to pay the man half a million dollars N.T. to settle the matter, but Chung didn’t agree with the amount, the courts charged him with assault felony, sentenced him to six months, which he can pay the charges and not serve the time.
And so, this, is how alcohol still acted as a catalyst here, because the men were both drunk, and, whenever alcohol gets “involved” you can expect a slower reaction time, the overinterpretation of nothing that became, something, and, it reduces your judgments too, so, this, is how this case ended, the man nearly, blinding his friend, and he’s, charge with, physical assault.
