Pan Apologized to the Pingdong Mental Hospital’s Resident Injuring a Woman, Causing Her Retinal Detachment, a Fractured Nose
The fifty-year-old man, Yang in Pingdong had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, with assault records on the local villages, was suspected of getting angered by a local female store clerk’s reminding him to put his mask on multiple times, on the 26th, he’d, attacked the woman in the super convenience shop where she worked, pinned her down to the floors, started, attacking her, and gouged her eyes out with his bare hands. The police arrived, and used the baton to subdue Yang, but the woman was beaten to retinal detachment, with a fracture in her nose, sustained a concussion, was rushed into surgery, being emergently, resuscitated.
After Yang was subdued, he was forcibly taken into the hospital; on June 30th of this year, he’d attacked the elderly seventy-one-year-old woman, Lin, made a slash to her neck, abdomen, causing the villagers to panic, and they’d suspected that the government isn’t doing what it’s supposed to, for which the head of the county of Pingdong, Pan made an apologies, and admitted to the lacking in the security nets of the society, that he will work hard, to patch up the holes, and discuss with the Department of Sanitation & Welfares, to try to make the laws stricter.
Pan was rushed to the hospital and operated on her eyes, one of her eyes had three stitches, the other, five, her left eyeball collapsed in her socket, sustained a shattering fracture of her nose ridge, and a concussion too; Pan’s mother told, that her daughter’s eyes were wrapped up by the gauzes, and she will have surgery on her nose by Saturday, and would wake up scared in the middle of the nights often.
Based off of the investigations, Yang is a registered mental patient of Pingdong, at 5’9, heavy set; at around nine in the morn on the twenty-sixth, he’d, made his way to the super convenience shop to attack Pan, an elderly woman who was shopping was a witness, back then, Pan was already, pinned down on the counters, and screamed aloud, “HELP!”, the elderly woman ran to a nearby drink shop, and told, “the cashier from the grocery shop was subdued, the man threatened to gouge her eyes out!”, the female owner of the drink shop called it in. It took two police officers, using the batons, to finally subdue Yang, and brought him to the substation.
The manager of the super convenience shop told, that Yang had made his way to the store almost daily, the cashiers reminded him to put his mask on every time, once, he’d shouted bac, “it’s my right to NOT wear the masks, the government has nothing on me!”; and that “even if I physically assault, or murder someone, I will be innocent” that “the government protects me”, and there was, nothing that any of the locals can do.
The elderly woman, Lin who was attacked by Yang told, that on the early morning of June 30th this year, Yang came to the breakfast store with a butcher’s knife and attacked her, “it’s still so scary when I thought back, I don’t dare make it out of the house now!”
There are around 1,600 in population of the local village, mostly were, elderly persons; Yang lives with his families, his mother told that there was nothing she could do, to control her own son’s behavior, that maybe, the medical treatments will, cure him, “I’m stressed out too!”. The locals lived in constant fear of encountering him.
The D.A.’s Office in Pingdong stated, that Yang is currently hospitalized now, and the D.A. has tabs on him, and will use the related facts, and when necessary, they will file to the judge to get him into police custody.
And so, this is the bad thing about it, how mental patients can’t be charged, due to their, mental conditions, and this man is diagnosed with schizophrenia, and has a history of violence on record, and, having him out on the streets, it’s like, living under the war zones for the locals, not knowing, when they will, get hit, it’s very dangerous and scary, and yet, there’s NOTHING that the government CAN do, because this man has a mental condition!
