The city of Hsinbei set up the Autism Adaptation Education Foundation, for long, the foundation helped the children of autism to solve the difficulties they have in interactions, socialization with the outside world around them, especially through the various activities, workout, exercise programs, allowing the children with autism to get the fitted physical developments they are in need of, giving them a place to connect with others, to have fun too.
The C.E.O. of the Foundation, Huang told, that the foundation was set up back in 2014, at first, it got started, by a group of parents with autistic children at home, because the children had a difficult time, playing the basketball games on the court with other classmates, and had confrontations, and gotten bullied even, so the parents decided to set up an exercise group, to take the kids out to the activities, and set up the related exercise classes for them too.

Huang pointed out, that the set up of the exercise courses, there would be a space needed, the coaches who would be, hired to train, and the classes grew from only eight members, to the full class of, twenty-four students, and the sports included basketball, table tennis, swimming, etc., etc., etc., hoping that through the individualized learning atmosphere provided, helping the children with autism find their own specialized platform to learn better, and the methods of learning that works best for them, individually.
With the passing of time, the needs of families, and children with autism became more multifaceted, the foundation had set up the music courses, art classes, calligraphy, and Chinese traditional puppets, for the eight years since it’s begun, there were, around, a total of four hundred children with autism who’d, participated in learning.
The foundation also, hosted its annual “Care for Autism Marathon” at the Metro Park of Hsinbei City, this year, the seventh annual will happen on October 30th, the activities will be inviting the members of the public, to run as volunteer runners, to help the public understand autism better, and, for the parents with autistic children at home to connect, to exchange their thoughts, but most importantly, for the children with autism to have fun, to connect with each other, to open that window for them, to let the world in.
Huang said, that the foundation had relied on the parents, and the kinesiology department of the city of Hsinbei working together for the program to be successful, and it’d had the results too, to the point of the mother and children foundations, branching out, to a national level too, hoping that their hard work can get the members of the public to understand the children with autism better, to interact with them more, to help the children with autism, get involved in the world around them as well.
So, this is a great program that the city’s started, to get the children with autism to interact with the outside world, to get involved with their external environment, for the parents to get together, to exchange their methods of caretaking.
