Buckle up, even IF you are on the back of the car, that could be what separates you from death, in a car crash like this one, but this adolescent wasn’t buckled in, and she’d, died, unfortunately…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The man, Lai, two evenings ago, drove Hsieh, the adolescent girl and her younger brothers, a total of three, as he was driving past the roads in front of the local Gangchien Substation through Dongshih County, in Chiayi, he rammed into the SUV driven by Chu, the two vehicles were totaled in front, with the parts all over the pavements, Hsieh was thrown from the vehicle, sustained serious head trauma, died instantly, the other four were all injured severely or minorly; the two drivers were hospitalized, so the reason for why the crash occurred is still pending investigation, the police officers and D.A. examined the evidence, and both drivers were listed as suspects of manslaughter charges.
Based off of understanding, the thirteen-year-old adolescent girl, Hsieh and her twelve-year-old younger brother, were riding with their parents’ friend, the thirty-nine-year-old Lai and the seventeen-year-old Tsao from the city of Chiayi to Dongshih County to visit friends, and had the accident on their way; as Hsieh’s mother rushed to the hospital two evenings ago, she was in distress, couldn’t accept the fact of the death of her young, as Hsieh’s father gave the statements, he’d only asked the police to sort through the facts of the crash, to tell him how his own daughter died.
The police and D.A. investigated, Lai drove his white sedan, with Hsieh, the adolescent and three other passengers, after visiting friends two days ago, was driving along County 168 to return to the city of Chiayi, at 10:11 in the night, he drove passed the front of the local substation, and, rammed into the black SUV driven by the sixty-one-year-old who was turning left on County Road 157, the two vehicles crashed with high speed.
The witnesses pointed out, that they’d heard a huge “BANG!”, and saw the parts of the cars all over the roads, an adolescent girl lying on the pavement; as the police arrived, they saw both vehicles totaled in front, and the sedan after hit, slid for thirty, to forty meters forward, with the adolescent girl, Hsieh, the door of her right passenger side on the back, was open, the police suspected she was thrown out of the car, and the SUV turned in place.
As the fire department rushed over, the adolescent girl was clearly dead, of severe head traumas, the paramedics lifted the three from the sedan, the driver from the SUV, to the hospital, of them, Lai sustained lacerations on his head, the adolescent male, Tsao had lacerations on his right palm, left thigh, the young boy, Hsieh had multiple contusions, while Chu sustained lacerations on the head.
The police found, both drivers showed that they weren’t drinking, and are both being treated at the hospital, the only one who is able to give a statement, the adolescent, Tsao, couldn’t tell the police exactly what had happened, was it not following the traffic signs, or speeding, it’s still pending investigation; the adolescent girl was found to have open fractures on her skull and facial lobes, the left ulna fractured too, and ribs on both sides broken, died of shock from the traumatic impact.
And so, this still just showed, how it’s, absolutely, NECESSARY, that you buckle in, even IF you are sitting on the back of the car, because, an impact like this, that safety belt may be what separates you between life or death, but the cars were driving too fast, and the impact was too hard, and the thirteen year old girl wasn’t buckled in, that is why this accident had, killed her.
