A total, tragedy, that turned, the originally, celebratory, Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, into, grief! Because the parents weren’t watching their young, and because the driver wasn’t paying enough attention to the road he was driving down, death, on a holiday, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
On the first day of the long Mid-Autumn Festival weekend, the seaside county of Dongshih in Chiayi, next to the coastlines the village of “oyster farms” was a shocking accidental death of a three-year-old young boy, crossing the streets, and got run over by a man from his local village with his truck, the child was run over, crushed, his bones, bent out of shape, lost his signs of life at the scene, the police reviewed over the surveillance, are investigating the cause of the accidental hit, the truck driver, Chiu is being charged with vehicular manslaughter, the district attorneys will be reviewing over the details today.
The police investigated, that the young child, Chen was walking from north to south from the roads next to his home early in the evening last, as he was crossing the roads, there’s no traffic lights, he was accidentally run over by Chiu, the child’s skull was crushed, rushed to the Changgang Hospital, and died.
Based off of understanding, Chen lived with his parents and grandparents, his parents raised the oysters for a living, before the family gathering of Mid-Autumn Festival, the news of the son’s tragic death, the parents couldn’t accept it as a fact, they were, in deep distress. The villagers said, that both the victim of the crash, and the driver are from the same village, that everybody is sad over this tragedy.
And so, this, is an, unfortunate tragedy, and, it’s not only the driver’s fault, because had the young child’s parents been watching him closely, paid more attention to this kid of theirs, then, would he have, gotten outside, and got run over by the pickup driver? Heck no! So, regardless of whether or not the driver was driving too fast, the fault of this young kid’s death, rests, primarily, on the parents: for NOT watching their young carefully enough!
