Suspected of Murder, and Stashing the Body Away, the Man Ran with Only His Boxers on, the Woman Missing for Months, as She Was Finally Found, Her Corpse Had, Rotted Away Already
The fifty-seven-year-old woman, Su went missing at the end of July this year, her cohabiting boyfriend who had abused her lost contact afterwards, hidden himself at his older sister’s home in Taoyuan, as the police went to visit the sister, he ran off into the mountains then, four days ago, he’d died of hypothermia, the police had, suspected; Su’s body was discovered, in the trunk of a taxi parked in the Yunlin Public Parking, already rotted, and, all the signs pointed to her being murdered by Cheng, and her body was, hidden in the back of the taxi, but Cheng is already died, and the D.A. is going to have an autopsy of Su to find out her cause of death.
The police investigated, Su (age 58) who lives in Siluo Township, and Cheng (age 61) who was from Taoyuan had been dating for six years, cohabited for two, they didn’t have stable jobs, and had broken up, gotten back together, on and off. Cheng was an alcoholic, and all of Su’s friends advised her to keep away from him, Cheng started abusing Su this May, the police charged him with attempted murder and domestic violence charges, Su filed for restraining order on him, after they broke up, they were still in contact with each other.
Su’s daughter lives in Tainan, and at the end of July, she had troubles getting in touch with her own mother, and sent out the finding notices online, to try and discover her own mother’s whereabouts, last month she’d gone to the Tainan Police Station to report her mother missing. The police used the GPS on Su’s phone, and found her in Daxi, Taoyuan, and called up the Taoyuan police department to help with the search, on August 12th, they’d found Su’s car in Guishan District, suspected that Cheng was in his sister’s home in Taoyuan, but as they visited, Cheng heard them, and ran into the mountains to hid, and on August sixteenth, he was found dead, of hypothermia, in a chicken coup in the mountains, the police suspected.
The Yunlin Police was called that there was a cab parked in a public parking lot for a long time, that rancid smell came from it, the police checked the license plate, it’d belonged to Cheng, and they popped open the trunk, and found an already, mummified, rotted away corpse, that couldn’t be identified. Su’s daughter, Tsai was called, and identified the corpse as her own mother, that she’d questioned how she’d reported her mother missing since about a month ago, and the police did nothing, demanded justice.
The Yunlin Police told, that as Su was reported missing, they’d called Cheng up, and told him that he couldn’t violate his restraining order terms, Cheng sounded normal, claimed that he’d, stopped, harassing Su already, by August when the police called him up again, the cell phone had already been, turned off.
Cheng’s older sister told, that her younger brother claimed that he was dodging from the outbreaks, that was why he was staying with her, for about ten days. The police suspected that Cheng had rented a cab up north, and suspected of having murdered Su, stashed her body in the trunk, and parked at the public parking lot, and the specifics of the case is still pending investigation.
And so, this is still how love became, murder, because the man was upset over the break up, he’d, murdered the woman, and, stashed her body, and he’d, hidden himself in his older sister’s home for a few days, and then, ended up dead. There’s a good reason why this woman wanted out of the relationship with him: he was abusive toward her, and in the end, she still, couldn’t escape him.
