The cause of death: Heat! And yes, this could’ve been, prevented, had the elderly woman had more sense, but it still, wasn’t, so, two more lives are, lost here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The sixty-four-year-old elderly woman, Huang from the city of Tainan drove her four-year-old young grandson out to the shrines to get exorcised, and they ended up dead in the car together, and they were found two evenings ago. The police and the district attorney’s office examined the body, found that they both had blisters over their bodies, and confirmed their causes of death as being caused by heat, that made them passed out.
The police investigated and found, that the car key was in the ignition, but it wasn’t, turned on; Huang had heart condition, hypertension, diabetes, they suspected that as she’d entered into her car, she’d, closed the door, that the heat that was originally in the car triggered her heart condition, and it’d, killed her, while the young boy had been exposed to the high heat in the car, and couldn’t adapt himself, couldn’t open the door to call for help, the temperature rose higher and higher in the car, and he’d, ended up, suffocating to death.
The police investigated and found, that two mornings ago, Huang took her grandson from Chihgu to next to the Ji-An Elementary School to Hsieh’s home to get exorcised, the car was parked on the opposite of Hsieh’s home in the empty lot, approximately thirty feet from the road, Hsieh went out early in the morn to work in the fields, and returned close to noon to perform the exorcism rituals for her.
death by heat, and it’s, rising up by the year, chart found online
The street surveillance showed, that Huang parked at around 8:46 in the morn yesterday, took her young grandson, crossed the roads to Hsieh’s home, stayed for nearly three hours. They’d left his home at about 11:37, into the car, and, four minutes later, they’d gone back to Hsieh’s home, and stayed for about forty minutes, they’d returned back to the car at 12:23 noontime for the second time, and, sixteen minutes later, they’d gone in to Hsieh’s for a third time, this time, only Huang went in, the car didn’t start, and she’d left her young grandson alone in the car, she’d returned about a minute later. They’d not exited the car since, on that evening at 6:52, Hsieh found that the car hadn’t left the lot, and, went up to it to check, then called the police.
The police and D.A. found blisters on both the grandmother and grandson’s bodies, Huang’s were on her arms primarily, while the young boy was covered in blisters all over his body, some had already burst, which fitted to heatstroke causing exertion.
The second daughter of Huang is the birthmother of the boy, divorced from her husband for many years, both were there, as she’d identified the body, she was heartbroken, told that her mother has heart conditions and health problems, but had been taking her medications by schedule regularly, “how could this have happened?”, the ex-husband told, that his son and his former mother-in-law was really close, and now all they can do is get the final affairs set up, hoping that they can be placed together.
The medical professionals told, that for those with vascular and heart conditions, normally, in high heat, the blood would become thicker, and more condensed, that the nerves would be overactivated, causing the blood vessels to contract quicker, which may in turn, cause myocardial infarction, or serious dysrhythmia. To prevent the heat-induced heart conditions, people shouldn’t go out in high heat, and prevent from wearing the clothes that aren’t breathable, most importantly, to get the water and enough salt into your systems.
And, this, is what happened, the woman lacked the senses, and, left her young grandchild in the car in the heat of high noon, and, because of her conditions of hypertension, heart condition, diabetes, etc., etc., etc., it’d caused her to die of high heat, and this could’ve well been prevented too, had this elderly had the sense, to leave the car door open a bit, to let the hot air out, then, turn on the ignition, to get the air-conditioning going, then, get into the car with her young grandson, but, it didn’t happen that way, and, with the temperature getting higher and higher by the day, these deaths by heat will only, become, more and more, prevalent.
