After the Exorcism at Noon, the Woman Suspected of Passing Out Due to the Heat, the Grandson Couldn’t Get Help & Got Trapped in the Car, They Weren’t Found Until the Evening

In Mado District of Tainan last night, the grandmother-grandson pair were found dead, the sixty-four year-old woman, Huang and her four-year-old young grandson, were found dead, inside a sedan next to the Ji-An Elementary School, without any sign of external injuries on them; the police investigated, that at noon yesterday, Huang took her young grandson to get an exorcism at a nearby shrine, as she got into the car, they’d suspected it was the complications from her hypertension, and other health issues, with the sudden high heat, that’s caused her to have a heatstroke and died, the four-year-old young grandson couldn’t get help, they were both found dead.  It wasn’t until early in the evening last night did the local residents discover them, the police were collecting the evidences through the night, the D.A. will be conducting an autopsy today to clarify the cause of death.

The city’s fire department received a call from the local residents at around seven in the evening last night, that next to the Ji-An Elementary School in Mado District, there was an elderly woman of about sixty, and a young boy of about four, dead in the passenger and driver’s side of a car, with no signs of life.

As the paramedics rushed over, both the grandmother and grandson were dead, they didn’t get taken to the hospitals; the police found that the woman was Huang and the child was her grandson, the car was registered to the woman, there weren’t any signs of physical injuries on both, no charcoal, nor last note in the car either, the police ruled out murder, but it’d not looked like suicide either, they’d notified the families to come over to help with the investigations.

“They just came over at noon to get exorcised”, a woman from the local areas told, that Huang and her four-year-old grandson just came by at noon yesterday to get an exorcism, back then, the elderly spoken like any ordinary person, there wasn’t any signs of abnormality

The police found last night that Huang has a medical history of hypertension and diabetes, that she wasn’t physically well, that at noon yesterday, the temperature rose up to over thirty-degrees Celsius, she was parked at a distant location, the police aren’t ruling out that the two got into the car after the exorcisms, and Huang, due to the sudden heat in the car, causing her exertion, passed out, and the grandchild being too young, couldn’t call out for help either, the two were trapped in the car and couldn’t get out, causing this, tragedy.

The local who’d called this in told, that the car parked in the lot since noon, and after seven in the evening, it’d not, moved, he’d felt it was odd, and he’d gone up to the windows to check, and found the grandmother, grandchild, dead inside.

And this, is how the tragedies happened here, because it was too hot, and the car became, like an oven, it’s made of steel, and, steel conducts heat, and, the grandmother and grandson didn’t open the door to let the heat out first, and just got in, and, they’d both, died of, heat stroke, and, with the temperatures getting higher, and higher in the summertime, this is going to happen again and again, but this could’ve been avoided, had the elderly had the sense, to just keep the door of her car opened a bit longer, or turn the engine on as she got in, and turn on the air-conditioning systems, to cool the car down first.
