A way they’d, kept their student-teacher affair under wraps here…translated…
She’s excellent at reading lips, and so as the professor started teaching online due to the outbreaks, but didn’t turn on the mic, everybody in her class had been affected, but her.
“Professor, please do turn on your mic”, finally, a student couldn’t stand it and sent him a reminder, the professor smiled bitterly, as he’d apologized to the class.
“I’m sorry, we’re not yet, familiar with the operations of the mic and the webcam systems, let’s begin then.”
As he’d started lecturing, everybody started writing in her/his notebook, nobody noted that anything was off.
Only that silent, “I can’t wait to see you”, made her gloomy day light up.
And so, there’s, something going on, perhaps an instructor-student relationship, that almost, got found, and who knows, maybe the professor intentionally not turned on the mic, so he could, get the message out to this female student who can, read lips…
