The Family Shared a Bed Together, the Infant Boy Was Crushed to Death by His Older Sister

Another case of, the unfortunate death, of a, young infant boy, due to the carelessness, of the parents, once again!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A five-month-old infant boy, and his two-year-old sister, and their parents, slept on a bed together, and, the older sister was suspected of flipping over in the night, yesterday morn, the infant was found underneath his older sister, with his face turned black, the parents immediately rushed him to the hospital, but the infant still, died, it’d, impacted the parents very much; the experts in early childhood and the pediatricians advised, that infants should sleep independently of the parents, to not sleep together in the same bed as the parents, in case the parents might crush the infants to death in their sleep

At the preliminary investigation, the infant boy, while sleeping at home on the 22^nd, shared a bed with his older sister, his parents, at around five when the father woke, he’d found that the young girl was, on top of the infant boy, that the infant’s face had turned purple, and rigor had, set in.

The father was thrilled, immediately moved his older daughter to the side, but the infant boy already lost the vitals, the father immediately rushed the infant to the E.R., but the infant, due to his heart and lungs stopped functioning, after the emergency resuscitation measures had been performed, still, died; the police checked the scene, found no signs of struggle, and deducted, that the tragedy occurred, when the children were sleeping together, they asked the D.A. to conduct an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.

The head of the pediatric department of St. Paul’s Hospital, Chuang stated, that infants should sleep in the same room as the parents, but not on the same bed, on the one hand, the parents can check to see the infant’s conditions, and it can also, avoid the infants from being crushed to death as the adults moved around in their sleep.

The senior nursery worker, Wu pointed out, that it’s improper for the parents to sleep with their young infant children, that the infants could easily get injured as the parents flipped in their sleep at night, that deaths such as this one is especially, heart wrenching, she’d often advised the younger parents, that although babies are clingy, but, they should be put to sleep on their own beds, especially, before starting a family, the parents should assess their own abilities, to plan the family well, to save enough space for the children to sleep in, to play in, that the families should not all sleep together, in one single room together.

And so, due to these parents’, mistakes, this young boy died, and, it’s still not the young girl’s fault, but the parents, because the parents should’ve, set up a separate sleeping space for the infants, but they’d lacked the sense to, and now, their young son died.  This could’ve been, easily, avoided and prevented, but it still, wasn’t.
