The Tragedy in Long-Term Care: the Grandson Murdered His Own Demented Grandmother, Trembling, as He’d Gone to Turn Himself in

Another tragedy, from the, long-term care “department” here, off of the Front Page Sections, reason why this grandson, MURDERED his own, grandmother, out of, MERCY!  Translated…

The thirty-one-year-old mane, Yeh, was suspected of couldn’t handle looking after his own demented, immobilized eighty-seven year-old grandmother, he’d smothered her with a pillow when she was napping at noon yesterday, then, slashed her throat with a knife; after Yeh murdered his own grandmother, he’d, turned himself in, claimed that he’d, “freed his own grandmother!” There were knife wounds on the deceased’s face and neck, the cut on her neck was deep to the carotid and trachea, the district attorneys appointed the autopsy for next Monday to clarify the cause of death, they are looking at prosecuting the man on murdering of his own next of kin.

The police investigations found, Yeh lives with his grandmother and his older brother in their family estate in Hsinchu, the thirty-five-year-old older brother works to support the family economically, Yeh was registered as a handicap person, after he graduated out of high school, he became unemployed and started staying at home, responsible for taking care of his grandmother’s daily living needs.

Yesterday afternoon, Yeh took advantage of his grandmother taking her afternoon nap, smothered her with a pillow, as he’d found his grandmother was still alive, he’d gone to the kitchen, picked up a knife, slashed his grandmother’s, throat, her carotid was, severed, died instantly.

Immediately afterwards, Yeh called the police, turned himself in, the police were shocked, and rushed over, and by the time they’d arrived, Yeh’s grandmother was, already dead; Yeh was found trembling all over, admitted to murder, and gave the police the accounts of what he’d done, claimed, “I’d helped freed grandma!”

The neighbors told, Yeh’s father died of sclerosis due to alcoholism early, that after his mother divorced, she’d moved away, they weren’t doing well economically, a couple of years ago, his grandmother would pick up the recycling materials to sell; while Yeh rarely had any contacts with the neighbors.

The county government stated, that awhile ago, Yeh had filed for the breather programs, and was approved after the assessments by the social workers were made on the 22^nd, and yet, the tragedy still, occurred.

This is yet another story, of how the help that’s available still, came too late, this man was stressed out, about looking after his own grandmother, and, as she’d, deteriorate, the burdens of caretaking became too heavy for him, and, he’d, murdered her, out of, mercy, but, despite what the reasons for his murder was, murder is still murder!
