The problem, socially, from the outbreaks, the shortages of medical care workers, the government’s inability, to contain the spread, not zooming in on the runaway migrant workers, and all of that, added to, how quickly the infections are currently, spreading across this island right now, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
In the heights of the outbreaks, a lot of the medical care workers stopped going home, because of worries of their families. My two children are also working in the hospital systems, my son who works in a teaching hospital, since the start of the month, when the outbreaks reached its all-time-high, other than sending us a good morning picture at seven in the morn, at eight or nine in the evenings, “I’m off work now”, we’d not seen him in a long while. My daughter who works at a local clinic, also, stopped visiting us temporarily too, the blood-oxygen monitor she’d bought for us, she’d dropped it off in our mailbox, rang the doorbell, told us, that we can pick it up on our out somewhere.
People are a contradictory creature, we are too sensitive, when others are discriminatory against a certain group, feeling the angers, the upsets, but, we are, totally, unaware, of how we’re, discriminating against the medical professionals, working on the frontline of this war against the spread of the virus.
how the migrant workers would gather with their fellow countrymen
For these past few days, there were, the larger-scale clusters of migrant workers confirmed diagnoses, and it’d made us all on edge; worried over the whereabouts of those who’d contracted the virus, we’d started sending the message to each other as reminders. And, even though the source of the clusters of infections had been found, it’s still, quite, worrisome, that the holes in the systems aren’t the migrant workers living in the dorms, or those who are renting their own place, with a valid work visa, some of the migrant workers had expired work visas, or are runaway migrant workers, they’re a group of their own, and can’t be controlled by the systems. This group of runaway workers, or illegal migrant workers, they may become, a huge problem in our fight against the spread of MERS-CoV.
The government need to focus on the important measures, to stop the continual spread; if the problems of illegal workers, runaway workers aren’t taken seriously enough, then, the spread of MERS-CoV will continue, to even being unsure of how huge the hole of defense against the spread happened, where it started, it’s not in the clear.
And so, the migrant workers, they’re, a key to containment of the spread, but these are, runaway workers, fearing deportation, so they’re, in hiding, and, they are gathered with their own cultures, and, if one of these migrant worker had contracted MERS, then, chances are, the virus will spread from one migrant worker to the next, to the next, to the point of infecting those whom the migrant workers are hired to look after.
