A five-year-old boy was tossed three times by his mother and her cohabiting partner two days ago in the pouring rain, he was shocked, and called out, “it’s so scary!”, the child’s mother stood by, and watched her boyfriend hurt her own young, the witnesses from local areas notified the police, and the police identified the mother and her boyfriend, and found, that the boy was a long-term concern individual of the Taichung Social Services, and that the protective order was signed just this year, it’d stated that the mother and the boyfriend shall not use violence on the child again. After the social services assessed the matter, they’d, placed the boy into a foster home immediately, and the police took the mother and the boyfriend into the district attorneys’ office for their violations of the court-signed protective order of the young child.
Two afternoons ago, in Chingshui, Taichung it was pouring out, witnesses told that a couple was riding a scooter, parked to the side of the road, the woman was on the back, the man in a raincoat took the boy down, carried the boy in his arms, then, threw him into the paddies with the mud filled water, three times continuously, the boy didn’t cry, fell to the center of the mudded rice paddies, claimed, “it was too scary!”, the locals filmed the process of the child getting tossed as evidence, then called the police.
By the time the police arrived, the young boy, his mother and her boyfriend left the scene, and, they’d started reviewing over the street cameras to identify the child and the mother and her boyfriend, and found that it was a five-year-old boy, who was suspected of being abused by his own mother and her partner, the man claimed that the boy cried out of turn on their way home, that was why he’d parked to the side of the rice paddies, and threatened him, that he’d not physically injured the boy; the police checked the boy for any external injuries and not found any, notified the social services.
The Social Services confirmed that the boy was a case they took care of for awhile, and from the assessments made from the video provided by the locals, the child’s mother and her cohabiting partner already caused mental and physical injuries to the young child, that they will be filing against them on the laws regarding the rights of welfare of teens and children; and the adults had violated the terms of the restraining order, and the social services asked the police to take them to the D.A.’s office.
Based off of understanding, the boy’s mother didn’t make much money, and they were listed as low-income family, with her cohabiting partner not having stable work; at the start of the year, the couple abused the boy, the social services were called, and filed for a restraining order on the child’s behalf, and the terms stated that the adults shall NOT abuse the boy in any ways. The Social Services noted that throwing the boy had broken the laws of the restraining order, that the mother just stood by and watched, not fulfilled the duties of protecting her own young, the emergency placement process was set forth yesterday, to place the young boy out of the home.
As the news got out online, the online community criticized the mother for not preventing the abuse of her own young by her cohabiting partner, “You’re NOT fitting to be a mother!”
Of course this woman is NOT fitting to be the child’s mother, because she couldn’t protect the child, and when the boyfriend tossed the boy in midair, she just, watched from the side, and her lack of show of care and concern is what made her ill-fitted as a mother, and she’d, enabled her son’s abuse by her boyfriend.
