Waken Up in His Sleep, He’d Pulled Out a Knife from Under His Pillow, and Stabbed His Countryman to Death

The migrant worker, Bahn from Thailand, two nights ago, was sleeping at the employee dormitory in Chidu, Keelung, felt displeased how two fellow countrymen, Sha and Cha were talking too loud waking him up, they got into it, Bahn pulled out a knife under his pillow, and, stabbed it into Sha’s left thorax, causing Sha to bleed to death; as Ban committed the stabbing, he’d fallen, dumbfounded on his bed, as the police arrested him, he was, more than remorseful, and after the police interrogated him, he was booked on physical assault leading to murder.

The third substation of Keelung City Police investigated, that the fifty-five-year-old Bahn, Sha, and Cha were all from Thailand, worked at the same company legally; two nights ago around eight Bahn was asleep, Sha and Cha were talking loudly as they’d entered into the dorms, Sha was awakened, and started, cussing them both out, and they’d started, the altercations.

Sha ran to the bed, beaten Bahn up first, Bahn got angered, and fought back, suddenly, he’d pulled out a fruit knife from under his pillow and stabbed Sha, Sha didn’t expect that Bahn had a knife, couldn’t react in time, and was stabbed in the chest, fallen down, bleeding.

By the time the fire department rushed over, Sha had no signs of life, they’d quickly, gotten him to the ambulance, and before they arrived to the E.R., he’d already, died.  Bahn was dumbfounded after he’d stabbed Sha, didn’t resist as the police came to arrest him, with the murder weapon fallen to the side of his bed, with the puddles of blood around.  He’d sustained contusions on his face and right leg, the police took him to the hospital to get treated, and reported the matter to the Thai consulate here.

Bahn told, that he wasn’t feeling well two nights ago, went to bed early, was upset as he got awakened, and Sha cussed him out, and, beaten him, that was why he got angered and picked up a knife to fight him off, that he’d not intended to murder him.  The knife he used was used to protect himself, that it wasn’t, premeditated, that they’d not shared any displease prior, that he’d only, acted out of, anger.

The police found, that the suspect and the victim got along regularly, and other migrant workers all testified, that they’d gotten together to eat, to drink, that there was, no conflicts, that nobody knew, that Bahn had a knife under his pillow.

And so, maybe, this wasn’t, premeditated, but the man was in a bad place, lacking in sleep, and, the men were talking too loud, woke him, and he’d, lost it, that was why the murder happened.
