The forty-year-old Vietnamese woman, Le who works in the sex massage parlors in Zhongshan District was found dead in her massage parlor yesterday, with a knife wound around her neck fifteen centimeters long; last night the police arrested the thirty-six year-old suspect, Pan, he’d admitted to murder, claimed that he’d killed her for money, but the police discovered, that they had flirtatious exchanges in the communications app, and the knife used to murder wasn’t discovered either, the police is now, working the case as a murder, and still chasing the leads.
The location where the murder occurred, was a place with an assortment of various businesses, the sixth floor was set into many suites, Le opened a sex massage parlor in one of the suites; at around nine in the morn, the deceased’s boyfriend, Dai went to the workshop, opened the door, found Le lying in the bathrooms, clearly dead, with blood all over. The police, fire department were called, and they’d found a knife cut on Le’s neck about fifteen-centimeters long, that what caused her death was her severed carotid.
The police found, back in 2017, Le was working as a caretaker at a nursing home, she’d run away, was sent back to Vietnam by Immigrations, she’d stowed away here again in 2020, the system had no records of her entering the country, her workshop was also, her hiding place.
The police reviewed the hallway surveillance camera of the sixth floor, found that two evenings ago at around eight, Pan had entered into her apartment, with a backpack behind him, about an hour later, he’d left, Pan was handicapped, and as he’d left her place, he was, limping.
Based off of investigations, a year ago, Pan went to get serviced at Le’s workshop, and had multiple times gone to her for his massages, the two got acquainted, Pan would text the flirtatious messages to Le using communication app; last year in December, Pan left his work as a delivery driver, as he’d left her apartment, he was riding a scooter with the delivery box.
At around six in the evening last night, the police took Pan from his home in Hsintien, the preliminary investigation suggested that Pan was short of spending cash, bought a fruit knife at a shop two evenings ago, headed over to Le’s to ask for money, she wouldn’t give him, Pan killed her with the knife in his left hand, took the $3,000N.T. that she had in her purse, and the cell phone, sold the cell phone to the shop for $7,000N.T.s.
So, this looks like murder for money, but it may not be just money, because the man had gone to the massage parlor where the woman worked, for a SEX massage, so, that may be a contributing factor for why he’d, murdered her too.
