As the Adolescent Raised His Arms to Surrender, the Police Still SHOT Him to Death in Chicago

The police are still going, GUN-CRAZY in the U.S. here!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

At three in the morning, the Chicago police gunned down the thirteen-year-old Latino youth, Toledo, with a gun in his hand.  But the Chicago police station publicized the footages of the police bodycams, which showed that that youth had, tossed down his guns, and raised his arms up, faced to the police, and yet, the next second, he was still, gunned down by the white officer, Stillman.

Stillman received a call around midnight, that in the Hispanic neighborhood of the west side of Chicago, in the Little Village, he’d told, that Toledo had a gun.  In the nineteen second footage, it showed Stillman, chasing down Toledo down an alley, called out, “police!  Stop!  Stop running NOW!”, then, Toledo slowed down, Stillman called out again, “Hands, Hands, let me see your hands!”

Toledo raised his hands up, but Stillman still opened fire, and ran toward Toledo who’d, fallen down, and, the gun seemed to have dropped, around Toledo.  An officer called out, “Gun shots fired!  Gun shots fired!  Call the ambulance!”

Stillman stated, “hang on.  Someone, hand me a first-aid kit!”

A small crowd on the evening of the fifteenth gathered around the police station and marched in protest, but the protest didn’t spread out.  The mayor, Lightfoot stated, that she couldn’t, look at the footages of the bodycam, btu called out to the protesters to stay calm.  Before the results of the investigations come out, Stillman is working at the desks.

The timing of the footages and other details of the investigation came at a sensitive time, the Minneapolis African American male, Floyd getting murdered by Officer Chauvin is being tried, and recently, in Minneapolis, the female officer, Porter, mistaking her gun for the taser, and shot the African American twenty-year-old male, Wright to death.

And so, this is still, police brutality, and, studies from, 1990s, 2000s showed, that it’s easier for members of the public to MISTAKE a COLORED person for holding something like a gun when the individual was, holding something that’s, not lethal, and the police’s shoot now, ask questions later, doesn’t do anything to help improve the situation, I get that it’s, dangerous out on the streets, but you can, use something, LESS lethal like that TASER, to ZAP someone who you suspect may be dangerous…
