The Case of the Body in the Keg in Chiaotou the Couple Who’d Committed the Murder Received Severe Sentences

Because of the severity of measures this couple took to torture their victim, they received a severe sentence, but, it’s still, NOT enough, to console those whose family member they’d, brutally murdered, NOR his victim!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The man, Wu and his girlfriend, Hsiung had an argument with a woman, Lin at the karaoke, got into a verbal altercation, murdered Lin, then, placed her into a plastic keg, and poured the hydrochloric acid in, dumped her body close to the sugar mill in Kaohsiung; the Chiaotou District Court charged both with murder, abduction, kidnapping, and abandoning of a body and other charges, sentenced Wu to nineteen years four months and Hsiung seventeen years eight months, this can still be appealed.

As the verdict was read yesterday, Hsiung entered the courthouse led by the bailiffs, she sat up front, bowed a bit, and as the verdict was read, she’d, made eye contact with the friends and families who were there.

The verdict stated, that seven years ago, Lin wanted to let the rights of her shop seven years ago, Wu and Hsiung took the operations, as they’d made the contracts valid, Hsiung put down $5,000N.T. as a deposit, but later, the landlord didn’t want the location to be used as a karaoke, the two sides got into arguments over this.

As the arguments happened, Wu forced Lin to the ground, pinned her down, with Hsiung, using scissors, clipped off Lin’s hair, and stripped her, took her cell phone away, and locked her into the rooms.

As Wu was out, Lin hollered out for help by the window, as Hsiung heard her, she’d immediately run into the room, and started brawling with Lin, strangled Lin’s neck with her left arms, until Lin bit her, then she’d, let go; at this time, Wu returned back inside, as he saw, he’d used a long stick, started beating Lin’s legs, thorax, and buttocks, and other areas of her body.

As Wu and Hsiung had physically assaulted Lin to injury, they’d not taken her to the hospital, instead, they’d waited until the following day at around midnight, they took Lin to an undisclosed location in Chiaotou, dug a hole, and left her body there, then after a few days, they’d gone back to the location, dug her back out, lifted her body to the MRT Station near the sugar mill, stuck her body inside a plastic keg, poured in the hydrochloric acid, poured in the cement, then left, the body wasn’t discovered until last year in April.

The Collectivist Court found, that Wu and Hsiung after being caught refused to admit to guilt, and what they did, evaded responsibilities by blaming on one another, and although Hsiung was willing to pay, but evaded the inquiries regarding the case, while Wu denied everything, neither received the forgiveness of Lin’s families, and so the courts decided to give them both severe sentences.

And due to the awful methods these two criminals used in torturing the victim, and for what???  The rights to keep on operating a karaoke bar?  Then, the life of this woman was, taken from her, and this still just showed how little people kill for these days, and these two criminals’ measures to torturing their victim surely was awful, and they are deserving of the HARSHEST sentence that can be given to torture and murder, even IF the families were willing to forgive them, but the families weren’t, and they shouldn’t!
