Because this still wasn’t, just once, twice, or three times, it’s, the SIXTH, so of course, you’re gonna get, some, HARD time!!! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The man hit a light pole riding on a beach cart after getting intoxicated last year in August, the breathalyzer showed 0.28, the courts believed, that this was the sixth time in five years, that he’d not learned yet, sentenced him to seven months in prison, and that he had to serve it; Chen fought for an appeal, told that he had an eighty-eight year old elderly father, that he’d needed to take care of, begged the judge for leniency, hoping that he could, pay a fine, and skip out of serving the time, but the judge of the High Courts didn’t take it, tossed back the appeal, case closed.
The verdict pointed out, that at around ten in the morning on August 6th, after Chen was intoxicated, he’d ridden out on a four-wheel beach ATV, and, shortly after he’d left his home, he’d, slammed into the light pole, fell into the ditch with the ATV, injured himself, and was taken to the hospital.
The police went to the hospital, Chen admitted to riding out while intoxicated, but that he’d not hit anybody, only “rammed” into the light poles, the patrol officers gave him a breathalyzer, it was three hours since the accident, and the reading showed 0.28, he was charged with public endangerment, sent to the D.A.’s Office.
The Pingdong District Court pulled out the recods, found that Chen had been sentenced FIVE times on DUI charges, and the sentences started from three-months, and added up, and yet, Chen still got behind the wheels intoxicated, not changing his behaviors, sentenced him to seven months, and mandated that he must, serve the full term.
Chen appealed, and begged the courts for mercy, stated that he would have smaller servings of alcohol every now and then, that this time, he’d only, injured himself, rammed into that light pole, that he has a father in his eighties at home in need of looking after, that if he got sentenced, his father would be without his looking after; and that one of his friends got caught drunk driving five times, and was given a fine, hoping the judge could, show him, mercy.
The High Courts believed, that for the five times previous, the sentence went from three months to six, and every time he got out of serving the time from paying the fines for the sentences, that this was his sixth time in five years, that he’d not, taken ANY heed of the dangers of drunk driving, the judge from the first trial added a bit more to the sentence, to seven months, that the judge didn’t punish him too hard, tossed back his appeal.
Yeah, and to think, that this LOSER tried using his FATHER as a BAD and a SORRY excuse, to gain the judge’s sympathies? Thankfully, the judge didn’t buy it, and he will be, serving the TIME, and hopefully, that will MAKE him learn his lessons, so he NEVER, gets behind the wheel, drunk again, but, chances are, after he’d served his jail time this time, he is, surely to, do it again, because people just can’t change, until they had a close brush with, DEATH!
