You’re, already, a FAMOUS physician already, but I guess, money is, NEVER, quite enough, is it???  Apparently, N-O-T!!!  Bad behaviors here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Taipei VMH Taoyuan Subdivision Hospital’s primary treating physician, Chiang, during his position of working as the health examination center’s department head, was suspected of taking millions of dollars in kickback using claims of migrant worker health examinations, repair of medical equipment, from the contractor companies, the district attorneys two days ago sent out nine search squads, found $1.9million N.T. in cash in Chiang’s house, and the conspiring parties testified that Chiang had been taking kickbacks, bribes for many years, yesterday the D.A.’s offices charged Chiang and the man, Huang who’s his supplier with encroachment, and set both their bails for one million dollars N.T.

what the physician was, doing…

The Taoyuan District Attorney’s Office pointed out, that they’d received the tips since 2019, of how the Taoyuan branch of the VMH system of Taipei was illegally connecting the company with which supplied the equipment for the health examinations, “Shen-He Company”, and used the falsified pricing, to forge the fees of repairing the hospital equipment.

The physician, Chiang was a high-blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory tract infection, homecare, hospice, cancer control specialist, had a rich experience, during the time he was promoted to the assistant manager of the health check centers, he was questioned, the hospital conducted an internal investigation in 2018, and believed that there were signs of his involvement, demoted him to a treating physician.

During the time of Chiang’s status as the assistant manager of the health check center, he was in charge of the shift assignments, while the contractor, Shenghe Company was in charge of sales and executive duties, and because Chiang started showing up when it wasn’t his scheduled shifts, the contractors believed that he was intentionally giving them a hard time, and, started handing the cash they received from the number of the migrant workers for the health exams per month to bribe him.

The district attorney’s offices had suspected that Chiang had allowed a specific company to win the bids, then, had the company falsified the costs, to fraudulently claim the extra fees, but there wasn’t sufficient evidence from the confiscated evidence then, and the D.A.’s offices only believed, that there was a high chance that Chiang had been, taking the bribes; as the D.A. conducted the interrogations, Chiang only admitted to partial of the evidences they’d presented him with, but the merchants told that they’d paid him in cash for many years, so they can make their sales successful.

The Taoyuan D.A.’s Offices two days ago, had the investigative bureau, and the Independent Commissions Against Corruptions to head to the Taoyuan Veteran’s Memorial Hospital, the offices of the contractors to collect the evidence, and they’d found $1.9 million N.T.s in cash in the safe, believed the amount was the bribe; and there were twelve individuals, including Chiang who’d been listed as plaintiffs in this case.

And this, is how it goes, it’s NOT that you’re, NOT making ENOUGH as a physician, but you got, a bit, too greedy, and got taken by the temptation of money, and after you were successful, in cheating the system for the first time, you got addicted, to try to cheat it again, again, and again, and now, you’re, CAUGHT, and that still just showed???  Oh yeah, NO good deeds go, UNPUNISHED!!!
