The fifty-seven-year-old man, Huang two evenings ago, was drinking with his own forty-one-year-old son at home, to fight over what station they wanted to watch on T.V. they got into a verbal altercation, then started, brawling, Huang pulled out a machete to threaten his own son, his son grabbed the knife away, and, hacked at his head, he was injured, ran out of the house with blood flowing from his head wound, to get help, he’d, thrilled his neighbor. He was taken to the hospital, and, thankfully, he was, not in any life-threatening, danger, while his son was arrested by the police, charged with the physical assault of a blood relative.
As the police and paramedics arrived, they’d found Huang with a laceration of about four-centimeters wide, rushed him to the hospital, and he was out of, danger after they resuscitated him emergently. The living room floor was covered in blood, the son stood dumbfounded in the yard, was arrested by the police, in the alley next to the old-style mansion, the machete the son used was recovered.
Both men wreaked of alcohol, Huang has a higher BAC reading than his son, as he sobered up, he’d admitted to arguing with his son, and in the heat of the moment, pulled out the knife, they fought for the weapon, and in the process, he was hacked, he’d not blamed his own son; the son also testified, that his father chased him out with the knife, that was when he felt threatened, and grabbed the knife away, and accidentally, injured his father, that he’d not intended to commit the physical assault.
And so, the alcohol is still, what made this situation worse, because they were both, drunk, and, in the heat of the moment, they’d, misinterpreted each other, and, got into this huge fight, and, in the process, weapons were, pulled out, and, then someone got, injured.
