She Ran Away from Her Own Family to Marry Someone for Seventeen Years, Her Family Had Filed for Her Death Certificate Already

A woman, Huang fell in love with a man that her family disapproved of, and left her home, went missing, and ten years ago, the courts declared her dead; and four days ago, she showed up on the streets of Wanhwa, and the police who were doing their rounds found her, and she “accidentally came back to life” again; the families were in disbelief, rushed over to see her to reunite, and, it’d been the seventeenth anniversary since she went missing.

Based off of understanding, Huang is forty-four years old now, lives in Banciao, Hsinbei City, seventeen years ago, she worked as a counter clerk at a mall, she dated a man whom her families didn’t approve of, after she had a verbal altercation with her families on February 28, 2004, she’d, left home, and ran away with her boyfriend.

The families reported her missing to the police but Huang was too angered that she’d, cut off all contacts with them, she’d not known she’d been listed as missing person, nor did she know, that seven years after she went off, the courts had already, declared her, “dead”.

On the afternoon of the eighteenth of this month, the Longshan Substation’s two officers from Wanhwa Police Department were making the rounds past the Xichang and Guiyang Intersections, found Huang standing alone by the side of the road, and, gone up to see if there’s anything she needed, and found, that she’d been “dead” for seventeen years, and, as they’d inquired her about who she is, they’d taken her back to the station.

Huang’s older sister was called, she was in disbelief, as she saw her sister; she said, that after her sister went missing her mother was distraught, and cried almost every single day, and they families gone to beg the deities in the temples all around, begged them to keep her safe.

She said that her mother didn’t believe that her younger sister was dead, asked around the temples, and all the deities told her that she was still alive, and she’d kept wishing that she will return home one day.

The police told, that Huang left home back then for a boyfriend, but the two had long broken up, the love ended; Huang refused to talk about this part of her past, and the families didn’t want to prod either.  Huang went missing on February 28^th, and she was found again, on February 28^th.

And so, this woman left for love, and, she was found again, by her families, and hopefully, after going off on her own, she’d learned, that her families are the ones she can count on, for long, and hopefully, she’d, matured through the years, and won’t make, any more, haste decisions to run away for love again.
