The Murder of the Female College Student from Chang-Rong University, the Father of the Suspect: He’s Afraid of Getting Tried Overseas

Liang, who’d abducted and murdered the Malaysian foreign exchange student at Changrong University, was charged on four counts including murder and abduction by the Chiaotou D.A.’s Office last December, the district court started the sessions to try him yesterday, and, examined if the evidences against the perp were valid or null and void, Liang admitted to sexual assault, but denied having the intent to murder, stressed that it was, manslaughter, and turned himself in; while the attorney of the victim begged the judge to hand down the harshest sentence on Liang.

After the case happened, Liang’s whole family moved away, and the man in charge of the local borough where the family lived made the statements to the press, yesterday, Liang’s father opened up his scooter shop, and broke his silence for the very first time and got interviewed.

His father stated, that his son made a huge mistake and there was no way around that, he and his families had gone to see him at the prison every month, to bring him his daily necessity items, and knew that his son was afraid of getting sent abroad to get tried, and from before he’d said, “I was willing to pay for it with my life”, but the family couldn’t afford an attorney, that they had no reasons, to work hard for his trial, that the family knew nothing about the case opening trial, nor were they aware of how far the case had been tried yet.

Liang’s father told, that his son wrote home, and believed the thought of “a life for a life”, but his son left a ton of debts, and there were the collectors who’d come forth, and he’d wanted to ignore them, but felt somewhat, responsible, that he couldn’t, just, leave his son be, and he didn’t know the exact amount that his own son had owed, and the families are stressed over this currently.

And so, this, is the aftermath of the murder of the college age girl from abroad, and this still just showed, how this man was totally irresponsible, before he’d gone and kidnapped the woman, then raped and murdered her, he’d failed to consider the consequences of his own actions, and how his bad behaviors might affect his whole family.
