He’d Loaded His Gun, AIMED at the Officer, Sentenced for Attempted Murder

You AIM a GUN at someone, that’s, INTENT to K-I-L-L, how do you, explain your way out of that, huh???  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

Two years ago in September, the lieutenant of the Miaoli Police Substation, Liu, pursued after the man who had an arrest warrant, Wu, Wu refused to get taken in, took an altered gun, aimed at Liu, Liu grabbed Wu’s gun, to prevent him from firing; during the trial, Wu claimed that he’d had no intent to shoot the officer, the judge didn’t believe him, sentenced him to seven years ten months.

The forty-eight year-old Wu had an arrest warrant for drug charges, on September 11^th two years ago, the officer, Liu and his coworkers, received a tip, and pursued Wu, Wu ran to a paddy field, then, pulled out an altered gun from his waist, pulling on the covers off with his left, with the index finger of his right hand onto the trigger, aimed at Liu, then Liu leapt into the rice paddies, grabbed the gun, called out, “it’s loaded!”, the captain of another squad, and the sergeant rushed up, and, the three subdued the suspect.

Wu denied having the intentions of firing his gun, that he was pulling with the officer, causing the slip to fall of, that he’d not, pulled it off, that he’d not put his finger into the trigger pull, that he’d not, aimed at Liu either, he’d intended, to turn himself in back then.

The verdict pointed out, that Wu was aiming at Liu, they were in close proximity, that the gun can easily cause irreversible damages, that if Wu wanted to turn himself in, there were safer ways he could’ve, handed the gun over.

The judge considered how Wu aimed at the officer, and found him guilty of having an illegal weapon in his possession, attempted murder, sentenced him to a total of seven years ten months.  The case can still be, appealed.

Like it’d said here, if you wanted to, turn yourself in, there are, SAFER ways to disarm yourself, and you tried to weasel, excuse yourself, that you were actually, going to, turn yourself in, while aiming, that LOADED gun at the officers in pursuit of you?  Yeah, and the judge, of course, didn’t TAKE the suspect’s words for it.
