The C.E.O. of Friends of Armed Forces Association, Lee, since he’d started as the C.E.O. six years ago, he’d donated over $200 million N.T.s to the armed forces, and got the funds for the foundation from the enterprises across the country in the amount of $600 million N.T.s. Lee also cared for the families that were living through the hard times, worked hand-in-hand with the United Daily Group long-term, given the resources to the distant-region schools, as well as the army retirement homes too.
This New Year’s, he’d set up the “Hope Engineering project”, hoping to give assistance to two thousand families going through the hard times across the island.
Last week, Lee, went to Danshui, Sanchih, Shihmen district offices on behalf of the Grace Charity Foundation, to donate the help funds for the families in need. Lee stated, that the Hope Foundation also covered the areas of Hsinchu, Miaoli, Keelung, along with Zhongli in Taoyuan, Gangshan in Kaohsiung, the local governments too, to help the families in those districts, to make their ends meet up.
Lee told, that he grew up poor, and now, he sees, that there are a lot of the families in the society in need, hoped that their children all have hope in their lives, and find ways, to change one’s own futures too. Other than setting up the plans to invite the children from the distant regions to Taipei to visit, helping the distant-region schools to get the resources that they needed, the qualified school instructors, to make up for the lacking in the resources.
Born in Tainan, as he studied in the Business College in Taipei, he’d part-timed at the China Youth Corps, followed the department head, the former president, Chiang Kai-Shek. Later on he’d done well in business, became the Uni-President Group’s trusted help working under, Kao, and as he’d started doing well, he’d given to the community continually.
A little over six years ago, he’d taken over as the C.E.O. of the Friends of Armed Forces Association, and, turned the office unit around. The former president, Ma, the current president, Tsai, the former heads of department of state, Yen, Kao, Feng, and Yen, are all grateful for the foundation’s work.
And so this man, he was tried growing up, and now that he’d become capable, and able, he’d, given back to the community, to help the children growing up in the less-fortunate situations, so they too, can rise up on their own too, passing the kindness along.
