The man, Liu seven years ago, used a hammer, and beaten the fifty-nine-year-old retired school teacher whom he’d never met before to death, robbed her of her valuables, and then, RAPED her too, on his first, second trials, and the appeals of the first and second trials, he received the unified verdict of death sentence; the Kaohsiung’s High Subsidiary Courts on the third retrial of the appeals believed that he was stripped of all humanity, that there was NO chance of ever reforming him, still sentenced him to death on robbery and murder charges, and he is to be stripped of his public office position for life. This can still be appealed.
The forty-four year-old Liu, on the first trial of this case got sentenced to ten years for rape, he was already serving his time, he’d heard his verdict through the webcam, and as he’d learned that that was the fifth time he’d received the verdict of the death penalty, he’d not responded out of the ordinary. The Collectivist Courts pointed out, that after Liu used the hammer on the female instructor just once, she’d already, fallen limp, and he’d, hammered her thirteen more times, disregarded someone else’s life completely, and caused irreparable damages deeply, that if he was sentenced to life in prison, it would be an injustice, that the death penalty fitted to the extent of the severity of his crime.
The verdict stated, that the divorced Liu back in 2014, was broken up with his girlfriend, and he’d started skipping work, and, tried to get his ex back to his place but she refused; on the third of December of the same year, he’d, gone to see his girlfriend, carrying a hammer with him, he was unsuccessful in finding her, ad he’d gone to the Hello Market in Zhuoying to rest in a local park.
After Liu was drunk, he saw the victim, getting into her car after her grocery shopping, about to leave, he’d gone up to her, and, started hammering at her head, a total of fourteen times, and robbed her of the $2,000N.T. she had in her purse, raped her, then, locked the female retired school teacher inside her own car from the outside, then, escaped; after nine hours, the instructor’s families found the car, and her body.
The courts asked the hospital to evaluate Liu, and showed that “there’s a high chance that he will murder again”; and he’d not changed his attitude or ways as he was being kept locked up either, the counselors in the prison systems claimed that Liu never mentioned that he was remorseful over what he did, and the Collectivist Courts interpreted this as there would be little to NO chance he can ever get reformed.
And so, this, was the considerations that landed this murderer’s ASS the death penalty, because he showed NO signs of remorse, and he’d, brutally murdered an unknown stranger to him, just because he was having a bad day, and this loser DESERVE to D-I-E that’s for sure!
