Singling this young child out, and using your status of power, to abuse him in various ways, and, surely you will be, punished, severely for it! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The female owner, Han-Ling Lin of a cram school was accused of abusing a two-year-and-a-half young boy since 2006, not only did she force him to eat the snack with mold on it, sprayed his face with pepper spray, forced him to dress up like a girl, also SHOVED his head into an icy bucket of water, made him squat, do the exercises of squatting jumps, lifting up the chairs in air, she’d held him upside down by his feet too, along with a total of TEN different measures of torture, for seven years, causing the young child to suffer from post-traumatic stress; the Taipei District Courts found Lin guilty of damaging the child’s growth and other charges, sentenced her to three years ten months.
The teachers, Liu and King who were charged in the case too, both were sentenced to six months, which they can pay a fine of $180,000N.T. to skip serving the time; and the female instructor, King admitted to guilt, received four years of probation, and needed to do the volunteer services for ninety hours. All of these can still be appealed.
In 2006, the young boy went to study at the cram school, based off of the indictment files, during the class times, Lin told the other children in class that the child’s mother works in a hospital and so he had germs, forced the child to wear a mask, made him sat outside the classes, not given him any water, food, and not given him time to go to the toilets, she’d even forced the child to eat the snacks that had molds on them, pepper-sprayed the child’s face, forced him to dress in girls’ clothes.
The D.A. found, that the child had his head, stuffed into a bucket of cold water, that he was punished to squat long term, the squat-jump exercises, holding the chairs high up above his head, in the winters, the woman poured cold water over his head.
The child had told his mother, but, Lin lied to the woman that it was because the boy was too active, jumping up and down, that was how he’d, sustained his injuries, and the following day, that boy got abused even more severely. The boy kept it all in, until he refused to go to school altogether in the third grade, that was when his parents finally, transferred him away.
The case began trial in March of 2017, Lin denied the allegations, claimed that the classes were taught by the homeroom instructors of the classes, that she’d not directly come into contact with the boy; that the boy’s laceration on the head was from his climbing up the shelves, that the CD racks fell on him, that she’d not, abused him.
The female instructor, Liu evaded responsibilities, stated that she wasn’t in charge of the boy, and denied the accusations posed by the district attorneys. But the female instructor, King admitted, that Lin told her to torture the child, admitted that she’d punished the boy to squat, told him to strip, the, used cold water to give him a shower; King stated, that she’d fed the boy the foods that Lin brought, but she’d not known that the food was, mold, that it’d, gone bad. That as she was handing down the punishment of the young child, Lin was also present, she now couldn’t understand WHY she’d, followed Lin’s orders then.
The Collectivist Courts pointed out, that Lin was the founder of the teaching institution, that she’d abused the child until he was in the third grade, that she’d evaded responsibilities, found numerous excuses, that there need for a very severe punishment; that Liu and King were both, accomplices, that they’re equally responsible on the criminal charges, considering how King had admitted to what she’d done was wrong, that she’d gained the understanding of the boy and his parents and paid the money, gave King a probationary term only.
And so, there’s, groupthink at work here, the woman in charge was the “leader” with the other two instructors, following her lead, and, what she’d done to this young child was, truly, awful, and hopefully, she will, NEVER work in the childcare industries again after this. And, no amount of punishments handed down by the courts will EVER, erase the traumas of this young child’s mind.
