A thirty-five-year-old male, Chiu was tortured by the two brothers who’d owned the construction company for which he worked under for around eight years, during which time, the perpetrators stapled his tongue, forced him to eat dog shit, he’d lived like less than human for years on end, but worried that if he’d fought back, he’d be abused physically even harder, he can only, keep everything to himself, until he was injured all over physically, his mother then, called the police, and the police will check the evidence of Chiu’s claims against his bosses’ abuse and threats, then, charge them with what they deserved.
Toward this awful incident of abuse, the local neighbors all testified that they had NO clue of this going on, believed, that the construction was large scale, and had someone been abused, then, someone within the construction crew would’ve, come out and said something.
The brothers Peng has a engineering firm for surveillance in Er-Chong Pu District of Zhudong, and denied all allegations that Chiu made against them; the local labor department went to check the location and the claims that the victim had made yesterday, Peng immediately denied the allegations, stated that they’re not the victim’s boss, that they were, partners in the construction, that they were like brothers, there was NO way that any sort of abuse happened.
Chiu accused them, that in October of this year, the Pengs became upset of how he’d falsified the progress of the construction to them, other than physically assaulting him, they’d, fisted his head too, and what was worse, was that they’d, stapled his tongue too, and had he not followed their orders, he would’ve been, abused even worse, and so, he can only submit to doing what they told him to, that for the eight years of the construction he’d done, he’d, slept on the couch of the office of the construction site, forced to sleep alongside his boss’s dog.
Chiu claimed, that the brothers used the electric cable cords tied him up by the hand, hung him up and, whipped him, he’d sustained serious injuries on his abdomen and in his lower extremities, he passed out and got sent to the E.R., another time, they’d forced him to eat dog shit, and had he not done what they’d told him to, he’d gotten another beating, they’d not given him any lunch for his term of working for them, and, paid him less than $500N.T. per day’s work.
And so, this is still, an abuser/enabler interaction, because the abused was too scared to talk, and, everybody around him turned a blind eye to what was happening to him, or that they were afraid, to get, victimized themselves, who knows? But, this man had, suffered serious abuse by his bosses, for eight whole years, and he’d, finally, come out to tell about it, because his mother noted his severe injuries, and, had his own mother not noted how severely her son had been, wounded, this may have, gone on, even longer still.
