The Most Heartwarming Battle: the Last Leg of the Race of a Student with Cerebral Palsy, the Other Teachers & the Student Body Ran Alongside Him

How everybody in the class showed, support to this student with cerebral palsy, by running alongside with him on the last leg of the races, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The fifth grade student of Zhen-Nan Elementary School in Doliou, Yunlin was handicapped by cerebral palsy, three years ago he’d entered into his very first race and made it to the end, yesterday, in the encouragement of his classmates, he’d, taken the challenge of being the last leg in the relay races of the class competitions.

The homeroom instructor, finished that final 100 meter with the rest of his classmates alongside hi, he was ecstatic, and panting hard, couldn’t say a word, his mother, Cheng said, with tears in her eyes, “Thankfully, he didn’t trip nor fall, it’s so amazing that he’d, taken this, huge step in his life!”

The leg before Lin handed the baton over to him, and, he’d, immediately, started, moving, without any hesitation, nor doubt, run, toward the, finishing lines, and, in the entire grade’s hooraying for him, he’d, successfully, crossed that finishing line, and, fulfilled his own dreams of running and finishing in a relay race.

with all the other students, cheering him on!

Cheng told, that Lin was born premature, and diagnosed with cerebral palsy, became immobilized, but he’d loved sports, three years ago, to enter into the 3K competition, he’d trained for three whole months, and this time, it was only, a-hundred meters, he’d still, gone to the track fields to practice, to the parks to train himself, and, with the whole class beside him, he’d, finished the race yesterday, which was, more than, meaningful.

“The success in education lies in that the kids all worked together, not for the sake of placement, but how hard they’d, battled, how hard they’d, worked together, to tackle the tasks at hand!”, Wang, the homeroom instructor stated, “how do we compromise between placement and the cohesiveness of our class”?, after the discussions held in class again and again, and again, unanimously, the twenty-three students decided, that Lin should take, that final leg in the races, for him, to have, an unforgettable experience in his schooling career.

After the races are finished, every student in the class took turns, hugging Lin; Lin smiled and told, that he was so glad he got to finish the races with his fellow classmates, that if there is another opportunity, he will, take on the brand new, challenges, and, bring glory to his class.

And so, the teacher taught the students, that winning isn’t, everything, and, the classmates all, worked together, to help this young lad get in the spotlight, and, I’m sure, that this would be, one of, the most, memorable moments in this young lad’s scholastic career.
