The Woman Who’d Abducted Her Own Daughter Rented an $8,000N.T. a Month Stay, Stated She Was Abused, that “My Daughter Willingly Came Away with Me”

Here’s the mother’s side of the story, on abducting her own daughter!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The woman, Lin took her daughter and “went missing” for a dozen years, the police followed the leads, and found them on a tip at a building in Kaohsiung; the neighbors observed, that the mother daughter were close, that it didn’t seem that the young woman was abducted against her will by her own mother.  Lin also stated to the public, that she never “kept her own daughter captive”, stressed, that she’d left home after being abused after she got divorced, that her daughter was willing to move in with her.

Lin told the social workers, “she’d come with me willingly, I never forcefully, taken her against her will.”  Stressed that her daughter is an adult now, that she could leave as she wished to, that she’d not, restricted her, and that they two of them are, very close.

Based off of understanding, the mother daughter pair rented a suite for about $8,000N.T.s at an old building; yesterday as the news came out, the mother daughter stayed in their home, as two social workers went to visit, that was when the mother was, willing, to open up the doors to let them in.

“I’d never seen them before, they just moved it!”, a neighbor stated, that she’d only seen the mother, and not the daughter.  The neighbors stated, that the mother goes out every day, that they’d only occasionally seen the daughter, that she looked healthy and normal, like a regular college student.

Another neighbor told, that she’d bumped into the mother-daughter pair about six times in the elevators, that as they saw her, “they tried not to talk with us”, the daughter hid behind the mother, with her shoulders slouched, and leaned onto the mother’s shoulders, that they are, close with one another, that she didn’t look like she was being held against her will, it’s just, that the two never greeted the neighbors.

Toward the abduction of her own daughter, Lin told the press, that her husband was, abusive, that he’d abused her when he got drunk, or come home from a bad day at work, because she couldn’t take it anymore, she’d, filed for divorce; back then they were separated, she’d left her daughter in her ex’s care, that as she’d gone to visit her own young, her ex called out at her, “you won’t be seeing her too much!”, while her ex, Hsieh had a rebuttal for that.

Hsieh denied having been violent, stated, that if he were violent, then the courts would NEVER grant him custody of their daughter; he’d told, that they had fights like normal couple would, that back when they were together, his ex threatened to leave regularly, ripped his shirt apart, that there were, physical confrontations, but he’d never, intentionally, hit her, or domestic violence.

The police investigated that Hsieh was sued for domestic violence back in 2005, but later his ex dropped the case.

The attorney Lin believed, that other than luring, Lin also broke the law of prevention against domestic violence, that Lin’s husband can ask for a payback for the damages in court.

And so, it looks like, the mother had, abducted the daughter, kept her away from her father, but, we don’t have any other details, so we can’t say who’s right or who’s wrong in this case, but, what this woman did was wrong, and maybe, it was, out of desperation, out of fearing of never seeing her own young again, but she still, should NOT have, abducted her child in the first place.
