And now, a “list” of signs, the rest of the world around him failed to NOTICE! Still hindsight working ITS, “magic’ here! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Just Last Month He Almost Kidnapped Someone, the School, the Police and the City Government Failed to Pay Attention, as the Tragedy Occurred, They Started Patching up the Broken Nets
At the location where the female college student, Chung was murdered in Tainan, at the end of September this year, was another incident when another student was, almost, taken by force, there were the online forum postings telling people to be more careful, and the locals all criticized that the roads close by were too dark, without enough lights, but the university, the police department, nor the government paid enough heed, the suspect had priors in stealing women’s underwear, and his abnormal behaviors weren’t, noted by the authorities either, and this series of neglect, had caused the tragic death of the foreign exchange student.
Reviewing over the whole thing, back on September 30th of this year, there was a female college student from Evergreen University who almost became a victim, and she’d posted the warnings online, that she was grabbed by a slightly obese, man that smelled of cigarettes, almost got dragged into a dark-colored sedan. And she’d screamed, that was when the man ran back to his car quickly; the female college student who was almost taken warned others, to watch out for strangers on their ways home, and to travel together with someone.
The man in charge of the local borough, Lin stated, that the segment of the road where the kidnapping happened, there were those who’d stole the wires, the transformer unit.
All of these signs pointed, toward how this wasn’t, a spur of the moment sort of a crime, as the female college student who’d escaped being taken at the end of September stated, that had the police enforced the patrol locally; had the district offices or the city government had, enforced the laws, or improved the lights, then maybe, the tragedy could’ve been, prevented.
And, for the suspect, Liang who had fetish preferences for women’s underwear, especially had he stole women’s underwear before on record, the police should’ve, kept a tab on his behaviors; as he’d driven his car around to the spot locally, and noted how the female students were, walking home in the darkness, the related units still hadn’t been, alerted, and had it not been this murdered victim, there’s no way that anybody will ever, take a note of the conditions.
What’s debatable was, until yesterday, the city governments, the police, the school, hadn’t paid any attention to what’s happened, until the tragedy struck, and they’re still, evading their responsibilities in the matter.
What’s ironic was, the second in command of the offices of internal affairs, Chen gave the accolades to the officer who’d helped cracked this case, and affirmed the police for solving the case in just a few hours, that it not only gave peace to the families of the victims, that it’d made the people in the nation feel safer, that the world still believed, that Taiwan is, a safe enough place.
And after the murder case, the mayor of Tainan, Huang posted on FB, that he would add more street lamps and more street side surveillances close to where the murder had, occurred, to protect the safety, of the students, as well as the local residents too, but what the locals really want to know is, all of these things that should’ve been done already, why did it take the government this long, to finally, get started on?
The answer to this final question is quite easy: until someone gets, BRUTALLY murdered, like this foreign exchange student from Malaysia happened, then, the government just shove the paperwork to the bottom of the piles, and, hopefully, the local government will do SOMETHING, like adding more light poles, or enforce the patrols in the local area, to prevent things like this, from happening all over again.
