Life, the Obstacle Course

With Light AND Love

Finding the closure, bit by bit, little by little, each and every day, after you’d lost your, beloved, cat, translated…

Pressed down on the record button, Sissy’s purring was kept intact.

She recognized my voice, but, can I, recognize, hers?  If all ten cats were recorded when they’d purred, can I, sort through each and every one, and know which one’s Sissy’s?  I’m not confident about that!  No!  Maybe, I can.  I’d used the depth of my soul, to listen, to go back to the memories of us, deep in love with each other.

In her sickness, Sissy, started purring, right before I was taking her to get, euthanized, is she telling me, to remember the happy times we’d shared together?  Or maybe, she’s, using her own way, to voice out, her last will testament?

And, what is she saying?

And, right around this time when I’m lost in thought, came a private message on FB, from a spiritual guide I’d only met once.  She’d come to know that Sissy had cancer from my posting, and sending her console to me in this moment of my need.  She was even willing to say a prayer for Sissy, that there is, some invisible force, that’ll, help, Sissy.

It’s a blessing.

And, in this blessing, Sissy came to me on the couch, squeezed herself in next to me, I’d, let go of that struggle inside then, and tears started, flowing.  Sissy and I both, accepted, this blessing.

On July 20th, Sissy had some canned food, and, she’d not gone to pee as much, but, what’s better was, that she’d, leapt on the long couch all by herself in the afternoon, just lay there, between my abdomen and chest, like a baby who’s comforted.  She’d, fallen asleep, so had I, we were both, tired, in the bodies, and the minds too.

About two hours later, she woke, went to the litter box.  Not long afterwards, she’d gone, to her litter box, again.

Blood, still came out.

The bloody urine, kept entangling us.

Her body isn’t well, but her eyes, still, just as bright, and we’d, connected.  That was, the sort of a connection from someone who knows you so very, well.  Oh!  She, sees, me!

Was her final will and testament that she loves me?

In that unseen, mystic aura, is there light, and love there waiting?

With the light, and the love, shining down on my, Sissy.

And so, you’re, slowly, finding that closure you needed to find, from losing your beloved cat, and, remembering the interactions of you and your cat can help you, keep her in your memories, and help you heal from losing her, a day, a little bit, at a time.
