This woman had to work even harder, because of her physical handicap, and still didn’t let that deter her from achieving her goals! Truly, inspirational here, off of the Newspapers, translated…
the woman, Ni of the Department of Education of Hsinbei City advocated the policies relating to education, and received the award of being the model worker of the city of Hsinbei, she’s profoundly hearing impaired, and as she was going to school she couldn’t speak articulately, and was made fun of by her classmate, as she started working for the government, she’d spent a lot of time at work, not wanting to be called incompetent because of her hearing impairment.
The personnel office of Hsinbei City hosted the awards ceremony for excellent workers, and selected fourteen employees who are model workers, and thirty workers who’d performed above expectation on the job. Ni worked for the Department of Education for eight years, and helped push forth the new plans for taking the steps forward in education, and structured the education for the creative agents, technical skills training, the level three communities, mobile learning, and combining technology with education.
Ni told, that as she was studying in school, she was made fun of because she couldn’t articulate herself, and she’d used her own strengths, to let more people know how hard it is to learn, being hearing impaired. As she just graduated, she was caught between in becoming a government worker or a teacher, later she passed the certifications, and got assigned to the Department of Education, and the first year of work she was highly motivated, she’d gotten trained in the various departments every two, three months, but it’d helped her got past her own hearing impairment, she had speedily sorted through the paperwork, and, she’s excellent in her work that her coworker often forgot she was hearing impaired.
When Ni communicated with others, she could read their lips, or having others speak louder, but when she’s in a crowd, she’d tried to get the major points to understand what is being spoken about, Ni told, that because of her hearing impairment, a lot of the things that nobody wanted to do at the office, she’d taken on, and she’d spent a lot of time at work, and didn’t want others to see she’s unable to handle things because of her own hearing impairments.
And so, this woman had, worked really hard, to prove that she’s able-bodied, being hearing impaired, and her ethics toward work, how she went about tackling her duties, responsibilities, is something that all of us can take from.
